Rapids are getting bailed out by TFC's forwards. Chapman skied that one shot, and Ricketts there hung onto it too long and had his shot blocked.

 

Interns forgot to run the clock into injury time.

 

Boy, that's some kind of ugly stalling.

 

Da Fonte goes down around 6 min into injury time...how much more time will the ref add?

 

The ref let the Rapids get away with it! First road point!

 

There's a tie/win as opposed to Toronto's tie/loss.

Have to say, Watts was outstanding as a sub. Gordon helped too. Nice assist.

 

I wonder if DisCo will review Hairston's tackle.

 

that was a ugly last 10min-

 

Badji's goal was beautiful. He showed poise under pressure and finished well. In this mess of a season, it's a rare highlight.

 

Nice road pt. Looked pretty grim in 1st half but they hung in. May need some pregame or halftime Midol next time out however.

 

I agree, but I think that was a law of averages goal. That was off his left foot into the corner. I could be wrong, but I don't think he could replicate it. The ball had to go somewhere and that's where it landed.

 

And through the sliding defender's legs, too. I wonder if he was trying to hit a curler to the far post.

Kidding, mostly.

 

I think mcmath needs to fall next time he is shoved as hard as that. That should have been at least a yellow.

 

Over/under on him playing our next match is: no he won't.

We equalized with a road goal and then held on in an ugly fashion for a road point. We will probably remember this as the match where our 2017 season peaked before regressing to the 2014, 2015, and early (entire) 2017 sub-mediocrity mean.
