Seriously, though. Our once-vaunted offense has now been reduced to "hoof it long to Christian and hope he does some magic"... Really, Inchy? Really? Blarg.
TCF is a wretched stadium for Summer afternoon games. And I have issue with their announced attendance. Looking at all the huge sections missing from the North side of the stadium, I would imagine, in reality, there was a couple thousand less. What's to say about the Loons? Just depressing. Never enough players getting forward. Without a true 10 or another forward, CR always has 2-3 players on him. This is too easy for opposing teams. I worry that AH has lost the players. ------------- Got this email As part of our Renew Your Loons campaign, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a teleconference town hall with Sporting Director Manny Lagos and President Nick Rogers on Thursday, July 27. The event will be moderated by color commentator Kyndra de St. Aubin, and Nick and Manny will take your questions about everything from the new stadium to season ticket renewals to player personnel. This will be fun.

My first in person MLS game was when I was in DC for a conference, circa 2007?. Got to meet a lot Big Soccer peeps, and experience RFK, and the Barra Brava supporters group. Good times.
Huge congratulations to Minnesota United for defying my preseason prediction & getting its 6th win. (I want this scarf!) pic.twitter.com/W79fZ3G8Fx— Subscribe to GrantWahl.com (@GrantWahl) July 30, 2017
Happy for both but especially Jerry. The way he almost broke down into tears after the game when Jamie asked him about his newborn son, takes a lot to compartmentalize and go out there and compete like he did.
TCF Bank Stadium | Minneapolis, Minnesota 08.05.17 | MLS Week #22 | MLS Game #23 7:00 p.m. CT (My29, MNUFC Radio on 1500 ESPN) Reminder....only four home games left. Next home game after Seattle is against Philadelphia on September 9th.
Kills me to miss this Saturday...will be in Salt Lake. Missing October 7th? Yeah, I probably should show up for my wedding, you think?
This game will be bittersweet for me. Shall be fun watching the old team I rooted for and players like Lodeiro and Dempsey. Hoping the Loons pull it out though, pretty much in must win territory.
Ouch. That was a spanking. Nil-4 to the Sounders who may have played their best match all season. Clint 'Deuce' Demsey with ... well ... a deuce. Piss poor offense on the part of the Loons, again. Danladi in place of Ramirez doesn't work well yet. He cannot see his teammates who are in better shooting positions but doesn't finish well himself.
I'm still pissed. We certainly needed Ramirez to bury some of those chances in the box/ -Please, no more Ibson taking any free/corner kick. Just awful -Boxall = Demidov 2.0 -Wingers (and Molino) kept pulling in too quickly. -I really want to see Calvo at fullback. -J Venegas was useless. -For the love of Zeus! SHOOT!
Future back line should be: Boxell/Kallman/Calvo/Jerry. I love Jome but he isn't an MLS starter or even sub. Or if we want to get Calvo out left have Taylor pair up with Kallman and move Jerry back right. I wanna say the club really blew their chance to impress the sellout crowd Saturday night, but I have a feeling based on the energy in the stadium, that they were playing in front of soccer fans who know the score of where the Loons are at as well as how ridiculous that Morris/Deuce/Loraido midfield was.
I agree with you completely. Many fans know Morris and Deuce from the national team. They knew we were up against a good team. We need to start looking at new players for next year to at least make mid table.
Why the heck did we sign Boxall who literally is the New Zealand version of Demidov? If I'm going to watch defenders who can't defend anything, please at least try it with young American players not named Jome. The only MLS caliber defenders on this roster are Calvo, Burch, and maybe Greenspan. Seattle could have won that game 8-0. They very well could win 10-0 when we go to their place. I kind of hope it happens. I'm not a fan of the job Lagos has done at all.
