Personally I don't think Neymar cares about the glory that much. He is great as 4x4 said but he likes playing with Messi and Suarez as it elevates his rankings and he doesn't have to carry the team on his back like Sanchez does for us. Personally again, I doubt he wants the pressure of all that at a different club without super star help. He loves the party scene and can get away with silly things like going to his sister's bday 3 years in a row missing games in the process because Messi and Suarez can Carry his weight. He would only leave for more pay or to get away from these tax allegations. Otherwise he's beyond happy at Barca provided they keep giving him raises.

It's the Brazil media and Pundits who pressure him to move to get the spotlight because they're obsessed with a Brazilian being POTY and a heir to the question, who's the next best after Messi and CR decline. But I doubt he cares as long as he gets money and lives his socialite life.

 

I'm not mourning the loss of Danilo but it does make me sick that he's joining Manchester City under Pep. Though it did not work out for him, I wish him the best in his career and only doubted his skill, never commitment.

Reason I hate the move to City is because they just signed a right back for £50m. Pep again doing his thing where is signs too many players for one position only to get rid of them the next year.

Holy damn, Neymar just scored 2 out of this world goals against Juve. The 2nd one was absolute top-drawer. He feels like a crazy girlfriend/boyfriend; the kind that thrives on creating drama.

Everyone probably swallowed special treatment to Messi. But now if both him and Neymar are able to bend them over, it really doesn't look good on Barca.

Contrast this with how most Madridistas reacted when Cristiano threw a tantrum last month. I'm getting more convinced that Barca need to take the 220 mil for their own good. Yes, Neymar is WPOTY material but remember we went trophyless for several years with Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, and Beckham; and a lot of it was down to exactly this kind of pandering.

Coming to Barca to steal Messi's shine is only something an idiot would plot, especially as Leo was 27 then and peaking. Neymar's move was influenced on Madrid backing out, on Barca being a decent team that was winning plenty at the time and Rosell willing to work on some scandalous deals with Neymar Snr.

 

Betting market has Barca like 55/45 to keep Neymar again. Please for the love of God, let this transfer go through. I'll puke if I have to see him spend another season in a Barca jersey.
