Not so sure. I think Roma has dropped off unless they make some signings in the last month of the window.

Right now I see Milan ahead of them with Napoli our main challengers.

Much rather have him than some of the retreads we are discussing.

Agreed, but I would take Il Gallo in a heartbeat. Toro would not sell him to us though.

Because some one asked me why we should get Belotti to replace Dybala when he leaves.

They mentioned already having Gonzalo as a reason to not get Belotti.

Tho the two are similar, I see Belotti as having attributes that would not clash with him. He is also a young italian and I would want him here because the hope is for us to have a young player who could grow into a leader here.

My hope would be him being Italian and Juves history would hopefully be used to retain him in future and have someone who can grow into a leader at this team.

We cant afford much more turnover in the future... its too chaotic and it is really bad public relations... I dont want Juve to be the practice girlfriend anymore.

The more stories like this I read, the happier I am that he and Alves were both removed from the team.

Still should have sent him into British exile, cause now he can continue to take swipes at us and Milan papers will eat it up.

Part 2 to support my argument...

While our turnover is not awful, it is concerning. Sure we can retain guys like Giorgio, Khedira, Pjanic, Mandzukic, and now Gonzalo.... but there is trend here... they are either older players who are past "prime" or they are above average guys who for various reasons are not in demand.

I really think we will lose Sandro in next 2 years, he is just too valuable for big teams in La Liga or PL and the ethnic demographic is more "at home" to him then it is in Italy.

Assuming Dybala leaves in next 2 years to pressure as well....

That leaves us with a 32 year old Gonzalo, 33 year old Mario, 29 year old Pjanic, 32 year old Khedira, 33 year old Marchiso, 34 year old Giorgio.

sure MDS, Costa, Pjaca, Rugani are all young.... but none of them are definite starter tier players and there are question marks about all of them.

We will not retain Lemina, our backups in Licht and Asamoah will be gone....

This team is facing a huge rebuild soon... and we need to do what we can to stop the turnover. We need someone who will commit to this team, If Paulo leaves after all he said... then all the signs say we need to change our transfer purchase strategy and buying Italian is best way to do that.

OTherwise we will be forced to just play plug the holes every summer and have a weak bench.

someone put this up on 4chan as a tentative lineup...

Having Asamoah and Licht in full spot roles is going to result in a lot of unmarked guys crashing in and they will both get beat by their man while defending... Stephen less so,

but Asamoah can only foul to not let a skilled player get past him and he offers nothing moving forward, expect a lot of passes back to Rugani or Giorgio... We really failed this summer if we expect him to be a acceptable sub because Sandro will need rest and relief due to his work rate.

Also reminder that Evra got us kicked out of CL 2 years ago with his poor play, Asamoah is arguably a worse player then Evra.

Roma has replaced their departed players with better quality players and they look like they're closing in on Kolarov and Mahrez, I'd say that they're probably better than last year.

We need to get rid of these players immediately; Lich, sturaro, rincon, lemina, asamoah

Its a shame to have these guys start games for us in important UCL fixtures

No. Juve aren't losing Bonucci, Dani Alves and Dybala in one transfer window. Dybala just extended his contract. Nothing is happening just yet. Next year is a different story; but it will take another world record transfer fee, and Dybala ain't worth that.

How do you guys rate Emre Can?

Personally, I would sell Cuadrado and bring in Keita. He is more versatile and is just as fast.

Overall we looked slow compared to Barca. They are going to be killer on the counter against most teams if they keep Neymar.

One thing that keeps pissing me off about Gonzalo was... yesterday was just a friendly, but he got played a decent spot in the box and the defender got in front and shielded it from his run.

The first thing Gonzalo does is yell at his team mates and flail his arms about.

That is shit Ronaldo does... and also Gonzalo had no one to blame but himself for leting the defender bully him out of play on that.

Yet he blames his mates, just because hes balding now doesnt mean he has to be a dick to his mates. This is not new behaviour from him.

I like it for the sheer fact that it rips this trend of "icebucket challenge" style singing video fad that some millenial in marketing department thought would be a good thing to do. And of course the EPL is behind it... anything for views which they only want so they can tell advertisers how valuable their club is.

I did like the everton rooney one tho. That had a narrative and atmosphere to it and I think that transfer was worthy of some attention.

Well Bernadeschi will prob play over him a lot. I expect to see little of Cuadrado this year outside Copa Italia.

This team just cull the dead weight stat.... but we all KNOW that Asamoah will still be on this team.

Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla claims the Cagliari youngster is also due in Turin on Monday.

The 22-year-old is probably best known for being one of several Italians that Massimo Cellino took with him to Leeds United in 2014, although he only made one appearance for the Whites in the FA Cup.

He did make 34 appearances for Serie B side Pisa last season and was a prolific youth international for Italy, although he is set to be loaned out again, with Filippo Inzaghi’s Venezia among those interested.

Some one on 4chan said this about Emre Can

"Can would be the first box-to-box midfielder for us since Pogba left. He can play in a 3 men midfield, probably in a 2 men too and even as a defender both in a 3 or 4 men defense.
    He's pretty great imo"

He looks in terrific shape. He undressed Busquets. He's incredible live. The speed I saw Juventus play at yesterday was incredible and it was their first game.

Looks like Neymar is staying after all. I hope you guys sell him next season and take PSG to the cleaners. He's such a twat, no matter how talented he is.
