Seeing Emre Can lift the Confederations Cup with Sheer Glee in his Eyes was such a nice Feeling having seen him looking Distraught and Inconsolable at Losing the Europa League Final to Sevilla.

Here's Hoping that's wetted his Appetite to Lift More Silverware with Liverpool Next Year.:D:D

And Timo Werner is going to be Some player..His intelligent Runs in the Channels pulled the Chilean Defence all over the Place and he was Integral to the Win.

Nice to Know All of Klopps Targets Until Now are Pure Quality and we Aren't linked to Dross Anymore.

If the chavs want to spend 40+m on Rudiger, please let them.
Most of what Chile did well came at his expense. And it was absolutely abhorrent the way pulled out of a challenge in the first half.

Enjoy wanking all over yourself this summer. I have a feeling next summer won't be so pretty.

In the world outside pietist puritanism "do good and talk about it" is not only allowed but encouraged!

While we're talking shit about youth national teams (Jesus, is it August yet?), how did Germany do against England in the U19 Euro? :D

Meanwhile, the US national team struggled to beat Martinique on home soil. I think I'll call it the Klinnsman Hangover.

not sure where to post this ....
The Africa Cup of Nations could be revamped – handing Jurgen Klopp a boost in the process.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have proposed moving the tournament to the summer, outside of the regular Premier League season, as well as expanding their biannual tournament to 24 teams.

The competition, which currently takes place during January and February, denied Liverpool of Sadio Mane for seven games last season as he played for Senegal – with the Reds winning just one of those.

Confusion over Joel Matip and his decision to make himself unavailable for selection for Cameroon also saw him miss the draw against Manchester United in mid-January.

After being selected by Cameroon boss Hugo Broos, Matip refused to join up with the squad, leading to reticence from his club in selecting him in case they were dealt sanctions by FIFA.

With club record signing Mohamed Salah an Egyptian international, and top transfer target Naby Keita from Guinea, any change would help Liverpool in the 2018/19 season.

Sheyi Ojo, Ovie Ejaria and Dominic Solanke are also eligible to represent Nigeria, although they have played their youth football for England.

The next tournament is set to run between January 12 and February 3 in 2019, taking place in Cameroon.

now it's finalized - they've moved the ACN to summer months so we won't be losing any African players during the season again. excellent news.

where are they going to play matches? South Africa would be optimal, since it's winter there.
