Lucas is just there to be a runner on the wing, similar to how Navas used to be. But yeah, would be shocked to see even a minute of playing time from him unless we have already won the group by our third game

Besides a new coach there needs to be a massive revamping of the NT players quickly as the WC2018 qualifiers are just around the corner, 5 Sept at home against that powerhouse Liechtenstein team!

After watching the Germany-Italy game, I really feel ashamed for Spain. They got so many good players like Germany but Bosque simply refused to carry or put them on. If players like Gabi, Isco, Costa were there and Vasquez was starting, Spain would not have lost to Italy at least not like that. With Aduriz starting to make pressure against Italy, Vasquez to dribble at the right flank and Gabi to protect Sergio, it would have been much tougher for the Italians to break through. And they could bring on players like Cesc, Costa and Pedro when Italy were starting to get tired.

Good luck finding someone like Aragones that was willing to renew players and tactics. He had massive balls for not calling Raul.
    I miss the guy.

What do you mean whatever happened to him? He never played for the senior national team. As for club, he is still with Real Sociedad as far as I know.

Did you look at the bright side of 2008, 2010 and 2012?
If so, you were probably the only one.

Ramos is a year older ... he'll be around 34 in 2020 ... do you expect them both to retire after Russia2018? ... Pique will be 31yo when the EC2020 qualifiers start and 33yo at the final event ... for a CB that isn't too old and his experience could be very useful ... which CBs can currently fill the shoes of those 2?

They will both probably be in Russia but I can't see either going to the Next Euro or Qatar for that matter.
Ramos will most likely make it to the next Euro.

Not sure I'd want his attitude playing for us. On the other hand, we still call up Diego Costa so....*shrug*

I remember watching this at a bar in Stockholm. I liked the Dutch but wanted Espana to win due to Torres. Was excited when he got on the pitch. There were lots of celebration over the win.

And the very next day I went to visit friends in Den Haag haha.
