holy crap! every time i play one of the batman games, i always say how awesome it'd be if there was a spiderman game with the same type of combat/movement. it looks like they've done it... and it looks really good. too bad it's ps4 exclusive though, which means i probably won't ever play it. maybe one day it'll come to pc.
If I remember correctly Sony also refused cross-platform play for Rocket League. I'm sure in their mind they figure they're winning the console battle, so why help their competitors?
Yup. Rocket League will be cross play on xbox, pc, and switch. EA should do some cross play titles actually. FIFA, madden, NHL, I can't think of a major advantage using m/k over controller in thos Hey. If anyone has an xbox one or pc and have any interest in battlefront 2 check out the first one, it's free through Origin and Access until the 18th... Especially the later dlc cause it combines a good combo of outer space mp combat with ground action.
Friday releases is definitely a trend now. Seems like almost every release this Fall is happening on a Friday. Even Destiny 2 was pegged to have a Friday release before it was moved up two days. I really think this is the video game industry feeling confident enough to go up against theater releases of movies... Plus an extra excuse to sell a few days of early access to the game.
Had not seen the God of War trailer til now. I must say it looks very impressive. I dont mean the graphics (although it looks gorgeous), but rather the sense of a deep storyline. I was about to get tired this series, especially after Ascension. Because it was more of the same hack n' slash gameplay, and with the story just being there for the sake of moving the game forward. But judging by the new trailer, it seems Santa Monica has learned from Naughty Dog, and is taking some much needed risks with the franchise. The new game looks really fresh with an intruiging story and dialogue. Really looking forward to the new God Of War. I hope this is game justifies my PS4 pro purchase, which is collecting dust at the moment.
By no means a bad game. Still some nice fun hack and slash, patforming and puzzlesolving gameplay. Although I would definetely say its the weakest of them all. The first three were amazing, Ascension was ok. But the lower rating of Ascension from me, could simply be due to the thing I mentioned earlier about God of War "fatigue".
If yr PC can't run it and have a PS4 you will be able to play Cities Skylines on Aug. 15th. polygon link the console version is really great, no where as good as pc of course but I am putting a ton of time in it with no real issues
SNES classic coming in Sept. polygonlink What struck me at the news was just how many fantastic titles the SNES had. I mean there are tons of titles that I can think of that I'd love to see added to the already solid list of games. Probably due to my age at it's release but the SNES would probably be my favorite console of all time.
I had a dream about a new NOLF game or even a Cate Archer spy movie... Then I woke up and remembered Monolith is now owned by Warner Brothers who are letting the license rot in their drawers... Sigh...

I just remembered, EVO this weekend! I'd be all up for watching Street Fighter 5 final 8 on ESPN2 but that'll most likely be at the same time as GoT. Plenty of other games to check out, definitely gonna wanna see Injustice 2 and KOF14 plus the anime fighters. I wonder if this will be the last year of Marvel.
yep... even though matchmaking sucks after this latest update. i swear i get twice the amount of errors now with people failing to join in time resulting in the game being cancelled.
I've noticed that since I started playing again but wasn't bothered because before the update the xbox version was struggling mightly with lag issues. Guessing the developers have been working to make sure any match/session you enter runs as smooth as possible.
