I think losing Alex Sandro is a huge deal. I get the play defense part and I'm a fan of MDS, Darmian less. 70m is a ton of money... It's not so easy of a decision.

However what about defending against a FB like Sandro? There's a tactical advantage to an offensive FB of his caliber.

Juve are a buying and selling club.

After all is said and done, this management will be judged by where Juve finish next May.

If they feel that selling Sandro for 70m and reinvesting that sum on top of how much they already planned to spend to improve the squad is the way to go, then hopefully they are right.

If Sandro's replacement is an issue next year while the rest of the squad isn't upgraded enough and Juve fall off a bit, at that point they should be criticized.

That is what he brings, his offensive push. So if there is a strong right back, then one of the center backs can cheat to the left and help. But play a side like Real Madrid, you cannot afford that luxury as we found out. If we keep him, fine. But he is not the key player to our club, not even close.

Not us... but it involves Mino... This guy is unbelievable... a grown man acting like a millennial. Is he connected because I dont understand how he has this freedom.. he must be on the dole for someone bigger.

    http://www.football-italia.net/104738/donnarumma-milan-message-hacked

Agent Raiola also tweeted out a bizarre message this evening: “DONNARAIOLA x HATERS 1-0. What’s next?”

I have never seen him and play and I know youtube videos are misleading and just show the good stuff... but I watched this clip earlier and was surprised at how good Costa is on the ball... hes very quick and has some skill on the ball. He seems to be creative and quick with his passing in the final third which would provide great service to Paulo... Paulo and Dybala had a few games where they really sped up the pace of play with their fast passing in tight spots.

Has anyone watched him play, does he try to force dribbling a lot and turn the ball over or is he decent consistent at beating his man with dribbling. How is his crossing? what bout defense?

Alves was dreadful trying to beat his man this year with dribbling and instead relied on just positioning and his speed.

seems like a formation change would be needed to accomodate him. Would he not be playing where Paulo currently is?

It is not the worst thing in the world for a club that is financially responsible because it's viewed in that context.

The most important thing is preserving identity... you do not want to lose your clubs identity.

Keeping the Italian backline in tact and Gigi in the sticks is what is keeping our identity in tact.

We are lacking in identity in the middle with midfielders and wingbacks which is a current of mix of potentially good players( Pjanic and Sandro, maybe lemina) with guys who good to decent but on the decline( Lichtsteiner, Sami, Asamoah, Rincon...

We really could use a dominant strong midfielder to be a kind of vice captain who picks up the players around him in ability on the field and keep everyone mentally sound. Ideally, this is Claudio but there are serious concerns bout him after watching him walk off the field in the last Azzurri game.

We really could use a strong midfielder who wants to be here and will not let us down. Pjanic is not that player, Sami dissapears, and the kids are all too young to channel the mental affect Gigi has on his backline.

Pjanic self destructs, Sami is emotionless, Lemina showed nothing in the CL final except getting beat horribly in our own 18 for the last goal and then pouting, Stuaro doesnt belong here at all.

Its the same shit as the Pogba sagas...he makes his clients a clown and makes his fans hate and lose respect for them. Him and his clients will get paid anyway, why not be a little classy and not make a joke of the player, club and the fans? He acts like he cares about his clients, obviously he doesnt care about their image and popularity. People like him take the fun out of the sport.

Juve want around €20 million to sell Lemina. Watford are ready to make an offer and Galatasaray and Arsenal are interested.

Mattiello is going to Spal on loan. He will undergo his medical tests and sign the contract tomorrow.

L'Equipe claims that Juve are ready to offer €15 million to sign Matuidi.

Juve will meet with Atalanta to discuss the return of Spinazzola.

An EPL team is interested in Neto. The player prefers a move to Valencia, who are offering €6 million.

Lichtsteiner was offered to Nice. He's reportedly valued at €4 million.

If that is all true.. it looks like Juve is going to be doing a big rebuild this summer. That would leave us with no right fullbacks and see probaly our best bench midfielder being sent away

Is Spinazzola a left mid first and left wingback second? Didnt he play wingback for the National youth team?

With just a little over a month before pre season begins... we have no right fullback or wingback on roster is Licht leaves..

Do we know what the idea with Betancur is? Could he possibly be on this roster this year?

Mandragora is to be sent out on loan right?

if Milan want 15 mill for MDS and United want 18 mill for Darmian.. Juve should just do it and bring them both in.. your getting two moderately good defenders who still have some life left for under 35 million...

I am not sure where else you can get that done... and they may just stick around for a while since their Italian and the prospect of playing with BBC helps solidify their national team prospects.

That way musical chairs with the roster can come to a standstill.

That would leave Juve with 35 million left from the Sandro sale... add another 20 from the lemina sale and that gives us 55 million to buy a quality midfielder. That is enough for Nzoni or we could go cheaper and get Blaise and use the 15 mill for another fullback on the right.

Recall Spinazzola for the left flank and then buy another young youth fullback with pace to counter Darmian who does not have that... I read that Pol Lirola may be Germany bound, indefinately.

For all his lackings... Lichtsteiner has been loyal... maybe he should see the field more this year. I was impressed by his letter he wrote to the Juve fans on the night of the CL loss... despite the fact he hardly featured this year and no one would blame him for wanting to leave.

just some thoughts..... that imo are realistic and not based in fantasy, but rather transfer rumors which are reoccurring.

You said he wouldn't be an upgrade on what we have which was plainly mistaken.

Because, he, along with his countryman, Marcelo, and Alaba, are the best at their position. He is as good as they are going forward, and you underrate him defensively. That we were as strong as we were defensively this season is a testament to that. It wasn't just BBC defending. He is a game changer at a position where very few are capable of making a real impact.

He is a nice compliment to a good side. He had his moments. He is not a game changer. Don't make more of him that there is not. He is still a liability defensively.

Spinazzola primarily plays on the left side of the midfield.

Allegri stated that he's going to evaluate Betancur during the summer and then determine if he'll remain with the team or go out on loan.

They're already shopping him for a loan, but there has been talk of out right selling him.
