So that's what a player coming out and denying paper rumours looks like :whistling:

The longer this Donnarumma saga goes on, the better for us. The reports in recent days haven't been good in that Milan were closing in on an extension, that the family wants him to stay in Milan and Raiola is pushing for him to go Real Madrid, and that Donnarumma is considering sacking him and signing an extension. Montella even visited his family in Milan, and Raiola's cousin went to visit Donnarumma in Poland. Him coming out and shutting down the rumors that he's sacking Raiola means Sky Italy's reports lose a bit of credibility, but that doesn't mean they aren't hammering out an extension either.

Key date is July 3rd. Milan President said in the press conference where they announced that Donnarumma won't be resigning that they'll need clarity by that date as that's when pre-season starts.

If anything though, he'll sign an extension with a reasonable buyout. Considering he'll be leaving for free next season if they don't offer him what he wants - I'd say Raiola will demand ~€40M. They were pretty clear their major issue in getting attached to Milan is the ownership's ambition/successful management. To sign an extension without a buyout would expose him to his biggest concern, getting stuck long-term at a failing club.

He has since tweeted that his instagram was hacked and now his account is deleted. Who knows what to make of this, but I don't think it's game over for Madrid. If anything, the money throwing and the abuse will push him out of the club, not back into their arms.

Kiko scored against Donnarumma, and then saved Donnarumma's penalty kick in our match against them. Therefore keep Kiko and save the money for something else.

My lord, the Donnarumma saga gets better by the day. At this point, he's just trolling the Milan fans. You should see their reaction. If it was a positive move, it'll be like "We can forgive and forget, player X did the same thing and people forgave him". And if it's negative, "that snake, him and that fat f**ktard, they can both burn in hell". It's hilarious.

We need an A team for Europe, a B team for La Liga and a C team for the Copa, obviously.

The only place I've seen our interest reported is The Sun. So it doesn't look likely. If our third choice striker is actually going to be useful I would be up for it though, but if he's getting Mariano minutes, I don't see the need, for us and the player.

Anyway, it's likely he's going to Everton, and we have Mayoral in the third choice role.

At 6m he's a steal. Buy him, loan him back to Malaga for another year then sell him to EPL next season for 30-40m. Or maybe take Benzema's spot next season or the one after (i.e second striker after Mbappe)

With Alex Sandro looking more and more likely to end up at Chelsea, and having heard somewhere that Theo might get loaned out for regular starter minutes, anybody see a possibility of Marcos Alonso wanting to come back home to back up Marcelo? He didn't get much rest last season, mainly due to a lack of fitness and faith in Coentrao IMO, but having a solid backup coming off a championship season would allow him some much needed rest. Could very well see Alonso looking for a starter's role himself after a good season, though.

I think Marcos Alonso will just play LCB in their 3 CB system with Sandra the one playing LWB.

He's had a very good season, doubt they'll be looking to offload him. Also, back in the CL they'll be needing all the depth they can get.

I was going to say he seemed to be more of a pure wing back to me, but then again, I probably would have said the same about Azpilicueta before last season, but he was phenomenal in that role, too.

Don't bring up Marcos Alonso on this forum unless you want to be flamed.
