just saw the highlights and it looks like he got into shape... looks a lot skinnier
I hope now with the changes in the NT they call him up again.

Is Quinteros actually getting criticized by team owners?! I keep reading more and more club presidents criticizing Quinteros. Don't think I've seen that before much.

I'm not even going to bother watching any of those games. I want to see new faces and tactics but knowing him it will be same old same old.

Exciting to see Marcos Caicedo and Cazares too bad that when WCQ we'll see good ol Miller and possibly Montero or Martinez on LW

That was the only way Enner was going to see the ball into the net

Aside from the game being 1-1 defense looks solid, Enner is just terrible, Cazares and Caicedo playing good, hope they put in Cevallos Jr and Cifuentes in.

The fact that Enner is still in the field and Quinteros refuses to give someone else a chance reassures us that we are not going to Russia.

Enner has to be the worst player in the field. He shouldn't start but he actually shouldn't even be called up anymore. He is simply freaking terrible player.

Why are we even trying Oyola out? He was the second worst player in the field. Committing stupid fouls and losing the ball constantly. He is slow, weak, and small. Yes, he is a good Barcelona player most of the time but not for NT.

Mina again disappeared the whole game. Once again he proves he isn't made for the NT.

Quiñónez. Why. Why are we calling him up?

Quinteros should have been fired long ago. Plain and simple. No one in Ecuador or abroad believes in him, his staff, and the players he calls up. Stadium was practically empty.

Brazilians and Argentinians are ruthless. Why can't we be the same? If the results aren't happening, get rid.

Who was that user who was suggesting Almeida from chivas? I read an interview last week saying that he almost became our coach.

Venezuela sub 20 is playing a final, those guys are going to be tough to beat come next qualifiers.

Ecuador played another match against Venezuela behind closed doors with Ecuador winning 1-0 with a goal from Cifuentes.

    That would be me

Unrelated to that matter, after the last round of qualifiers I've just gotten so disinterested with the selección, like some of you have already said. Hearing from the radio it seems like the same old with Quinteros. Apparently Cifuentes had a falling out with him already, due to his garbage minutes (idk if there's validity to that story). Until he's fired the expectations are low.

I've been more interested in the nba finals than la seleccion and I don't even watch basketball that much.

We suck. Plan and simple. There's nothing more to it. We suck. We will not qualify for the WC. Let's not be delusional. Did I mention that we suck?

Enner is so much more productive when he plays next to a real striker instead of taking that role himself.
Sad that Quinteros doesnt see it.

$276 million over 10 years and $30 million in the first year. I would assume they haven't gotten anything close to that for TV rights at least not in the long term

With that kind of money we could have any top coach out there.
