according to the usual suspects it's ONE year WITHOUT any options
which, of course, few really understand (Doucouré out for longer ???)
BORUSSIA confirmed nothing so far... so let's wait and rack our brains

STINDL with first goal in Russia against the 'roos

his national-coach seems to be not that enthusiastic because the last two U21-EC-matches Benes only came from the bench (2nd half)

I think this Kit wins the cake UGLIEST to date. Both by Kappa & Lotto No??? Seems like the boys at Kappa are pretty pissed that they got booted by PUMA and this is their way of showing their anger lol.Be a sport my beloved Italians...PUMA & GLADBACH are meant to be....am sure this will be the only kit before PUMA takes over and our away kits etc will remain the same!

My German friends in Gladbach claim he is the next Dahoud and even a more physical and an all rounder ???
I hope character wise though he is nothing like dahoud...like the coward he was!
We dont need that kind of talent in our traditional club.

I left the only emoji that matters.
Very confused by this statement. Either I'm unaware of something, or you're referencing Mo's departure and calling him a coward because of it?

Don't read up on Denis if that's the case. BMG is merely "the next step" in his development as a player. Gladbach competed against him early in last season-they know his abilities first hand. Thing I like is that he has experience in varied positions on the field, so he could move around the formation should injury strike the usual suspects quite hard yet again.

    which brings me to: Benes.

    * If you want me to not give a crap about you as a player, continue to profess to the world how badly you want to play for United. This bullshit is draining me of my interest in the European game.

    definitely more physical
most likely much better at the things Dahoud isn't very good at (not yet at least)
most likely much worse at the things Dahoud is very good at
which could (!) be an upgrade for the whole though because there now is Grifo, too
I'm very very excited how this all will fit, yes I am!

nevertheless: it seems they are still after RETSOS! really, at that prize-tag !???!
and the Christensen-rumors (winter-break) will never stop... never ever... the next 20 transfer windows at least his name will pop up again and again I guess ... except he returns in winter break, of course!

generally I'm a modest person... I don't even demand to win in the lottery... but I want 1€ each time I hear this "next step" thing!

about UNITED: that's how the young soccer player's mind work nowadays I'm afraid
there was an interview in German media where he told how badly he dreamt (as a youth player) of playing for the Hoenesses... and if Italian media is doing an interview he most likely is gonna rave about... right! ... Juve!
that surely is not particularly original, but it seems to be hard to find much originality in the younger ones (except they have driving problems!) all over europe... not sure: either they aren't (original) at all (all this training! makes your mind sleepy! - while my couch-potatoe-mind in contrast always is rambling, searching, challenging, experimenting... all this to no good, of course!) OR they are successfully hiding their originality (because it's more comfortable and their agents are telling to do so: "Always give the expected answer.")
that's why we like the Kruses ("In hindsight it was a mistake to leave Borussia.") and Kramers that much (when Kramer was asked about the ongoing rumors regarding ongoing interest from Italy he told: "I signed for five years at Borussia and I meant it")... but apparently they are rare, very rare

If the plan is to play a back three, with Kolo - Veste - Elvedi, then I can see a use for Oxford & Retsos; with Doucoure replacing Oxford in the depth chart once the loan ends. Retsos' talent seems well worth the price tag, and with Oxford coming in they'd have insurance for next season in case one struggles to settle in.

Plus you always want to have extra young talents to cover for when the bigger clubs come for your current stars. Having to wait until losing guys to bring in replacements to groom causes a lot more instability. So having Retsos, Doucoure, and Hanrath could be very helpful in a few years should the biggest clubs come for Elvedi...just like having Cuisance slowly developing from within will be important when bigger teams come for Zakaria & Benes.

Jantschke and especially Elvedi on the right are certainly suited for back three
it‘s Wendt and Nico Schulz on the left why I don‘t believe in back three (on a regular basis): they are of no use there; of course they could move forward but unfortunately that‘s the spot where Johnson, Grifo, Herrmann and Hofmann are already standing on each others toes… that‘s all established players! even if one is injured and another finds a long-term place elsewhere I wouldn‘t call this clumping reasonable squad planning
Oxford: I guess they just decided to fill one squadplace with two players (and to inexpensively strengthen Borussia's reputation in England) because Doucouré might be healthy now but could need months to get into combat shape after being injured a full season

the prize-tag-thing has quite a few dimensions f.e.:
    a) is the player worth the money?
    b) do we have the money?
    c) is it reasonable/preferable to spend that much even if we have it (questions like „Is there a huge current gap on the position?“ or „Should we detonate all our powder on him?“ and so on have to be answered)
I don‘t know about a) (obviously the club thinks Retsos has Christensen‘s class and they now want to timely buy -instead of loan- this kind of class… theoretically a good move!)
but I have more than slight doubts regarding b) and c)

all of the above might change with potential departures of course (there was Eberl‘s broad-hint-remark regarding Kolo, too) but at the moment the squad is growing instead of shrinking and that‘s not good for the youngsters and not good for the grade of satisfaction within the team… (not to speak of the financial aspect: we just can‘t afford it!) and if nobody leaves (Hahn to HSV might be the best guess at the moment) the club‘s actions on the transfermarket have to be very limited

yes, that's obviously Borussia's strategy for years and the only promising way at all
but at the moment I'm absolutely relaxed: like summer '16 we have no stars for the big guns! (maybe some for the wealthy English midtable-clubs though... and the name Hazard always might cause some phantasies in England)... but still totally relaxed... only stars in the making ;-)

    Stindl (11 Freunde):
    - if this goes on in two years the spanish tax authority is after his millions
    - gets better with age
    - is the Benjamin Button (never heard of him-now I know) of world soccer

    Oxford (Kicker)
    - EPL debut at the age age of 16 when West Ham beat Arsenal
(after the match -according to a guy at TWITTER- they found chewing gum, a smartphone and Mesut Özil in his pocket)
    - his manager Bilic considered him as being cooler than himself "If Messi would be standing in front of me I would be more worried than Reece."
[QUESTION: what happened after that? Reading, really?]
    - passing quote of 95% in that match, all this not as a CB, defensive midfield it was!

"Moenchengladbach have cash to spend as they still have a surplus from the £34m deal that took Granit Xhaka to Arsenal last year."
    their in-depth-knowledge is frightening!
a flurry of exictement at Borussia right now I guess: where is this surplus? do you have it? no! you? no! maybe it's still in the envelope! no! huh!
I watched some Spurs matches last season (still more impressed by their style than L'pools, Lucky ;-) but didn't see much minutes of Janssen... but he certainly is good enough for me and most likely the finisher we need
nevertheless I don't believe in a transfer ... the money thing, of course (see above)
(maybe a loan? buy why should they? playing CL and all that... unless Pochettino really wants to get rid of him)

hmmm.....yeah, I saw this. Skeptical. Different strokes for different folks Bananen..........Both teams press, but to different ends for different reasons. Tott's have the better team because they have the better defense. Yet; Deadpool seems to turn them inside out whenever the meet.

My favorite soccer personality on your continent is one Daniel Levy. I am a huge fan of his, because I hate all big clubs ! Window is where I get my laughs. Poch knows what he wants, and is building something slowly....beginning in England. Naturally; enemies see, are jealous as hell and are doing all they can behind the scenes to prevent. Stadium issues = complications.

The world holds the money, but Sir Daniel holds all the cards. Would be nice if Max & co. could get even that far some day. I liked Janssen in Holland. I agree he could help. I agree the money is a problem, because I know what Levy paid and I know he never sells on without a profit!

Vincent was slow to adjust to their league. Had opportunities due to injury but didn't produce. As his comfort level increased at the end of the season so did his production-and he started to look the part. Kid needs to play, and as job #1 belongs to a certain Mr. Harold Kane..........minutes look to be at premium for a striker with NT aspirations. That explains his interest in us. The overriding issue is that Tottenham came into the summer needing reinforcements beyond their #9. What was difficult enough under the skinflint (landing 1) becomes damn near impossible if he goes (landing 2). They have a good # of competitons to play in 17-18.

Therefore; I'd view this as fake news (for now).

He seemed a bit arrogant during his time on the bench and thinking he is better than the coach and the entire team....plus am always upset when players leave for fat rich clubs...only departures that didnt bother me that much was Granite and Marco...b/c they did it with class..somewhere Mo seemed without the proper professionalism in how he went about joining BVB.Dont you agree????
Plus another thing that pissed me off was...he started playing like a true player...when he was getting attention from other clubs....seemed like he was showcasing his skills now that a big fat pay cheque is in the horizon:thumbsdown::speechless::mad:

I think the points I was trying to make were:
1). Welcome to the entitled generation.

2). New guy doesn't seem much different in that regard.

Matt Ginter seems to be on Eberls radar....not sure if he can paint that target good enough for the missiles to hit it and bring him to Borussia Park tho !!! :whistling:Plus what is the club willing to pay for him??? He certainly is a great addition but am not sure if its what our team needs desperately unless we are looking to cut players....Hahn seems like a goner and joining HSV??If its true ill be a bit sad...not sure how Hecking and Eberl didnt see the potential in him?

Kramer so far seems like " All Class" to me at least...and i also agree how bad we could really use Kruse's skills and leadership on the pitch...he could have turned into something really special at Gladbach...but am sure the rest of ice berg is deep into the ocean and the dynamics of a players mindset such as Kruse and hopefully Eberl did whatever he could to keeps him at VFL or it was best to let him go??:cautious:o_O:oops:

as far as we know the divorce was a fast one
Kruse told what the Fraudsters were willing to pay him on a monthly basis and Eberl said: no, we are not gonna offer anything similar... not to forget: the unspeakable Struuuuuuuunz had his fingers in the pie, too
and then there was the expectation of Golfsburg becoming a regular CL-participant
that plan somewhat failed, haha (one season later Gomez made the same mistake! ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! yeah I guess you all know that word: SCHADENFREUDE, I'm guilty! I really wanted the Dieseldeppen to get relegated ...and they were pretty close)
one season later Raffa's contract got his extension... Eberl later told that in the worst case (no agreement with Raffa) he planned to approach Kruse again (then on a career-low) and he added that Kruse's kiss-my-ass-mentality is something a club needs (and predicted that only too much Kruse's in one team might cause trouble)
and: when asked what went wrong last season he mentioned among other points:
Raffa AND Hazard out for longer AT THE SAME TIME!
and added that unfortunately Borussia can't afford a fourth player with the same paygrade as Stindl/Raffa/Hazard for the two postions up front (so let's see what happens with Janssen)

yeah, Ginter-time... AGAIIIIIIIINNNNNNN... rumor! please disappear!
ok, Ginter surely is a good player and as a RB he might be even better than just good
but we already bought one overprized player from the wrong Borussia and I fear this might happen again... ... but we all know: Max is very persistent if he is going after a player... I hope Ginter has a lot of options (Tottenspur Hothams may be one of them) OR Bosz desperately wants him to stay

    HAHN:
it's really sad seeing him leave (especially to an impotent... uh, incompetent! club like HSV... I hoped for a more likeable club where I could share his joys... he deserved better I guess)
I like his character, his fighting spirit (something the team as a whole clearly missed at the end of the season) and he certainly had a high identification potential... I always liked players like him and Brouwers who aren't that gifted but get a lot out of a little
    but:
for my liking he's best when he constantly gets playing time: we cannot offer that, quite the contrary
he isn't really suited for our combination play (that's why Hahn never meant much to Favre) because of ball control etc.
he commits too many 'clumsy'? fouls it seems to me... some of our players might be too "gentle" but tough playing has to be clever at the same time
anyway: I wish him all the best and it has been a privilege for me to watch him score for Borussia (especially at the end of the 15/16 season! that was awesome and crucial!)... and as a role model he certainly is a big loss!

state of affairs: 1. + 2. (not confirmed, yet) + 5. (not on loan, YB Bern bought him... Benes probably was his undoing) are passé
next might be Ndenge to Belgium (Zulte-W.) http://kw.knack.be/west-vlaanderen/...ngladbach-op-proef/article-normal-267497.html but only temporarily (on loan) because -according to the source- Borussia thinks he is a huge talent

Disappointing news about Sow. Benes & Cuisance are clearly of a higher caliber; Kramer isn't going anywhere; Zakaria is more developed than Sow; and Ndenge is a similar caliber prospect; but I'd still like to see the young swiss mid return after a couple of seasons getting major PT in switzerland.

Benes probably won't be with the club for longer than Granit was...unless you solidify yourselves as BuLi contenders the way Napoli did with his countryman Hamsik. Cuisance will outgrow the club unless you can start challenging for the BuLi and making some noise in the CL...even then he has the talent to eventually play for a PSG / Citeh / Juve if not Bayern / Barca / Real; and so will probably eventually outgrow the club. And Zakaria will probably get sold for big money some day as well. Of course you can continue acquiring top prospects for when those sales occur, but having Ndenge / Sow developing with other clubs & ready to step right in when those guys do move on; would be very convenient.

Either way I'm in love with the young midfield and CB talent you have right now...especially if you do still bring Retsos in or can make the Oxford move permanent; as there's room for a big talent who's ready to contribute to the first team, if not start for it, who is somewhere between Elvedi and Doucoure / Hanraths with regards to first team readiness.

You'd just need to populate the wings & attack with similar caliber prospects to step in as the key vets (Raffael / Stindl / Traore / Johnson / Wendt) grow older and the likelihood of Hazard getting sold for 30M+ continues to increase...even if Villalba, Simakala, and Cassama develop perfectly...but nabbing a Avdijaj, Vlasic or Hagi over the next summer or two should be doable.

...though I won't complain if instead you got someone more ready to make an immediate impact for the attack; like Onyekuru or Bernard Traore would've been...or Fekir / Cerny would still be.

With Hahn looking like he's gunna fetch a nice fee (5-7M for someone who looses the ball as quickly as Hahn is a good deal); and the possibility of a sizable EPL bid for Herrmann remaining; to go with the remaining Xhaka & CL funds, this would all be very achievable while still leaving Eberl some funds to save for future windows.
