Apparently the transfer fee is just about £43 million, wish Monaco could get more from Silva, not too thrilled on this.

It's all based on wage structure. If Ligue 1 had a better TV deal it would create a better market for higher wages. beIN is a killer for the league to be honest.

Hey everyone, been a while since I posted.

Pumped for the Ligue 1 season. I do a "cash cab" like series called Soccer Sedan. Had to make one for the Ligue 1 Champs Monaco. Challenging everyone to see how many they get correct :D

    Benjamin Mendy - £52 m

    Bernardo Silva - £43 m
    Tiemoue Bakayoko - £40 m

Damn all our cores gone, at least to keep Lemar and Fabinho next season please :cautious:

Just saw that Barca is looking at Griezmann to replace Neymar if he goes to PSG. Looks like Real Madrid is the only club for Mbappe.

Meh. He refused to sign an extension and forced the transfer rather than wait for Real Madrid or Barca next year. Huge ego on that kid. UEFA isnt too happy with PSG right now.

Disappointing performance last night. Only 1 point through two matches.

Also gotta remember Balde hasnt even established himself in the team yet and neither has Tielmans. Lucky for them the league is so bad that they pretty much have 2nd locked up. The over reliance on Falcao for goals is troubling however.

So I probably wont be posting in this thread anymore because I dont like the Russian owners of the club and their philosophies. Mbappe to Paris was the final straw. The owners are flush with cash and dont have to sell yet they never say so and so player is not for sale like all the legit big clubs do. They complain about lack of sponsors and lack of ticket revenue as to why they have to sell yet they dont do anything to improve upon it and make it better. They are so lucky Ligue 1 is so weak which allows them to stay near the top of the table. Once Falcao, Lemar, Fabinho, and Jardim leave then can say hello to mid table mediocrity.

I hope that Falcao talks up the new manager on getting more players. The club needs better central defender and wingbacks and defensive midfielder...

Would love to see AS Monaco sign Frank Fabra, Francisco Meza, Luis Diaz, Sebastián Villa and Wilmar Barrios...

They could desperately use those guys at the very least Sebastián Villa, Wilmar Barrios and Luis Diaz

It's incredible how bad things turn out for Monaco, as they might even face relegation with Thierry Henry in charge.

It was bound to happen.. The Russian investor and The Prince are pretty much at odds, so money is pretty tight.

They're almost banking on their youth academy to help them survive this season.

Given the injuries, I don't think this will work.

That's the biggest problem... I wish they could get some help for Falcao... As a fellow Colombian it's rough watching such an emblematic player for my country of birth to be in such a position where they lose week after week.....

I wish they could even sign players to some loans... I would love if they could sign a player like Sebastián Villa and Jorge Carrascal and Wilmar Barrios... Those three would be extremely helpful and play right into the style of Ligue 1 and what Monaco would like to be

    Sebastián Villa
