Yeah nobody better compare Dolberg to Mbappe again on these forums. There is a reason Mbappe is hyped like this.
Welp, that means no De Gea. Since Manure will be playing in CL. They will ask for an arm and a leg for a GK who is a wuss. I'd rather get a young understudy to Navas who is younger and talented and doesn't cost over 25 Million.
There's a reason the shit teams end up in it and try to win it. Manure will get knocked out in the first round if they get a 1st pot team alongside teams like dark horses like Porto or PSG.
What success ? They've spent a crazy amount of money (over 200M in the last couple of seasons) and they finished 6th in the league, won the Charity Shield (a glorified preseason friendly), the League Cup (a competition in which every club fields their B team) and the Europa League (a competition for second tier teams). They should be doing much better with the money they have.
True, but they are in transition and have had more success than we did in our 3 barron years. At least they are winning silverware. Compare that to Arsenal who went 9 years without a single trophy (still amazes me how how the manager kept his job) and Pep at Manchester City who has won nothing.
I've stated many times I don't care about hypotheticals, nor do I measure relative success compared to money invested, in an era where a sizeable number of clubs in Europe spends fortunes. Trophies are scarce these days considering the challengers, and Jose has done it again. Credit to him and his players.
Hmm, better than selling to Chelsea. But at some point, if you're Arsenal, you've got to make a stand and hold on to your stars.
Winning the league requires a very consistent and functional attack. Even in England, you need to win 2/3rd of your games. United are nowhere near that which is poor. Winning cup competitions requires a team that is hard to beat and they are certainly closer there. Even in the FA cup, only lost at Chelsea 1-0 after playing 70 minutes with 10 men.
If we made it to the Europa cup Final, I would not have watched. I would not have known that we have won. I would not even known that we reached the Final.
This move will bring us back to the top. Thank god that useless old bastard Alonso retired. I'm already savoring a potential rematch next season.
Sounds like Griezmann was waiting to see if Man Utd qualified for the CL before committing to joining them.
Contract until 35. Not too different from Ronaldo. NOTICIA @partidazocope: Messi renovará cuatro años más, hasta junio de 2022 https://t.co/nP2keN3csL pic.twitter.com/hsyTOOfHZb— El Partidazo de COPE (@partidazocope) May 25, 2017
Did people actually do that? Dolberg is a fine talent, but has noticeable shortcomings. Mbappé has much, much more going for him.
Keita Balde will be an interesting signing for Atletico. His contract runs out in 2018. I don't think Costa will stay at Chelsea given what has happened since January. If Chinese club are not interested anymore, he could end up at Atletico as well. Maybe the plan is to replace Griezmann with Costa, Lacazette and Keita and offload Gameiro and Gaitan. Sandro's agent met with Atletico as well.. Maybe they got any hint that CAS verdict will be in their favour. http://en.as.com/en/2017/05/25/football/1495706557_266151.html
I've heard this rumor for a while now. Alexis will be a good replacement for Ribery/Costa. He is world class.
I really hope that they uphold the ban on them. I really want to kill whatever hope is left in Greizmann's soul.
