We will be playing the winner of the May 10th match between the NPSL Atlanta Silverbacks and the PDL SC United Bantams. If the Silverbacks defeat SC United Bantams, they will host the Battery a week later at Silverbacks Park. If SC United Bantams win, they will take the trip from Greenwood down I-26 to visit the Battery at MUSC Health Stadium.

On to jacksonville on May 31. Watch part of their match last night v Miami United FC (NSPL) and it was a scrappy affair.

Forrest went down clutching his stomach twice in the first half and eventually went out. He later posted that he got a couple precision knocks but nothing the win wouldn't cure.

Jacksonville's a bit shorter drive than Miami so there's that. Wednesday matches are always going to be scrappy, everyone played on the weekend and players are tired. We looked out of gas in the 70', we were fortunate not to let a 2nd goal in. I'm always thinking we should get our subs into the mix sooner.

Had an enjoyable time seeing my first live Battery match in two seasons on Wednesday. Although the possession was heavily in favor of JAX the Battery seemed much more the in control side- they were quicker, stronger, and more deliberate with their possessions.

Loved how the forwards pressed heavily in the opening 10 minutes putting pressure on a very strong JAX backline. Once the OG went in and put CHAS up Battery hunkered in and the utter lack of offensive creativity from JAX became painfully apparent for the homestanding side.

Glad you enjoyed its been a good season to watch them!

They have been very good at counter attacking this season. if you look at possession stats for this season, for most matches, our possession rate is in the 30% We've been dangerous going forward and have plenty of options. all and all its a very good team this year and definitely worth watching!

Good game tonight, lads. You guys looked like you were going to steal the show for much of the first half. We'll be keeping an eye on Woodbine and a couple of others as the season rolls along.

Bummer The Coffee Pot Cup will not be in play this year :(

From the highlights I've seen y'all played them pretty good.
I actually ran into an ATL fan at our Open Cup game in Maryland, up for temporary duty; I told him welcome and since it was a USOC game - Up The Battery - he appreciated it.
