Bas dost hattrick at Braga yesterday 31 goals so far that's more than the likes of Falcão could manage
this has been a major downfall for NT with coaches opting for inverted wing system with Robben with bazuca on his shoulders and sneijder with machine gun. how many times Huntelaar has showed how lethal he can be if you service him but yet the coaches want to stick with robben. the time for one man show has long gone. even ronaldo or messi cant do it at international level. it comes down to the team effort and this is where you need players who are suited for individual positions. Still believe if you give huntelaar two good wingers who can deliever quality crosses on time and a good fitter in the middle. he is still the best. its so true and again the same is happening with Dost. its time to move Robben to the left for the sake of the ever sinking ship.
Just shows your ignorance tbh and the structural problem of the NT to placate stars instead of choosing the players based on the best team they can form.
Just look up the stats of the attack of Feyenoord and Ajax I posted some weeks ago. Those two were far superior to what Ajax has up front. So how shall we qualify them then? Utter shit?
Dost wijnaldum- Van Ginkel Sinkgraven- Ake-Strooman- karsdorp De Ligt- Van Dijk- De Vrij zoet goals guaranteed.
Last season Tete completely shut Elia down. He was never a threat in the matches. They have been decent enough this season for your club but are not NT material.
The simple fact remains, they are the best Dutch wingers. Period. So are we going to select worse or are we going to select the proven best?
I thought we were discussing selection of Eredivisie players. Robben is the first one to put on the selection sheet. Plus the selection sheet needs more than 3 wingers, so room for at least another one.
If they are fit, the pair De Vrij-Van Dijk, who never played together if I'm not mistaken, is the best combination. But De Ligt should not delay to upset the hierarchy. It has enormous potential, it just needs to progress in one against one and in aggressiveness. My disappointment is that our coaches snub out interesting players like Ayoub or St Juste. Moreover, this Amrabat (Utrecht) is a big loss for the Dutch football.
