Third game today with the Kaiser 5, feeling more comfort, the leather seams to soften, now I don't feel pain in the upper parts. The only thing that hurts is a stud pressure in the bottom of the right foot.
Has anyone tried the leather ace 17.1? Interested in a pair of these and the umbro medusae pro, but I was advised against the medusae. Was wondering how the ace 17.1 leather feels in the event I talk myself out of the medusae. Thanks
I I got mine last week, they are very comfy and very light. I took a 9.5 instead if my 9 in my old F50s and it fits good. The collar isnt very tight for me. The lock down is very good and a lot less heel slippage than with my x15s. The stiching where it goes from leather to knit will need a bit of breaking in and the toebox is a bit roomy for me, with a little lip inside the boot to give structure to the box and to protect which will cause a weird crease behind it when you wear them and kneel with them. I played some touch rugby in them with loads of directional changes and kicked a bit in them and the stuck like glue. After 5 mins i forgot I had them on. The only reminder was the other guys constantly staring at them.
I really want a pair of glitch boots but I don't live in London. Hopefully they widen their availability in the future so more of us can try them out.
Is there any truth to the rumor that the Ace silo is soon to be discontinued? Is the champagne limited colorway going to mark the return of the Predator?
I just saw that Ace rumor on footyheadlines. Wouldn't surprise me if it's true. Ace hasn't really had that clear of a direction. I follow the boot market enough to be posting here and I'm not even sure what the main model is now, if it's the laceless one or something else. Also it seems like it's pretty common to still see pros in the various 16 models.
Normally adidas likes to do releases in December when a World Cup is approaching. If I remember correctly, there should be a few more colourways for the Ace before then.
Spoke to someone at Adidas today... Seems like our friend the Predator is going to be making some noise even after the Mania remake comes out
What I found out was that another Predator would be making a come back, I wasn't ever told this by anyone I just managed to find out about it by doing some digging. Last time I had checked, it seemed like the Precision was going to be remade. Which is super exciting because its my favourite Predator. I'm don't know the release date but maybe around September? My reasoning is that they will have a huge launch for the Nemeziz in June and the World Cup product launches will probably occur in Late Nov./Early Dec. Plus when the Predator Revenge pack was released, that occurred in August if I remember correctly. As far as the Predator returning as a series, I don't know if there are any plans for that. I do remember seeing an interview for some years back saying that had something incredible planned for the 2018 World Cup...but I don't know what that is.
Seems like tomorrow morning the predator mania champagne will be available, but they come at a hefty price.
