Goltz been done.. Aguilar he done... Get rid of Romero.. Notice that no gol streak? That fool needs to be gone like 2 seasons ago.. Ibarra a talent, but him returning would mean Lainez sits.. William and Ibarra are gems.. I believe.. Lainez the truth
If Renato comes back I would hope he takes minutes away from Miky, not Lainez. Regardless getting them back would be a boost for depth if nothing else. To be clear, you mean Pablo Aguilar is done not Paul, right? And yes, get rid of Romero.
Cruz Azul is coming back to Azteca and Chivas are coming back to Televisa. Got to think this helps the transfer budget.
Depends on how long it takes them to build their new stadium. I haven't really been following where their progress is, but last I heard months ago was that they didn't even have a site locked down yet.
That was just awful. The score flattered us. If we had gotten the point, it would have been highway robbery, so I can't get too upset about the last second goal. Santos deserved the victory.
“El América es un desastre, no juega a nada… Yo correría a Peláez”: Cuau http://www.sopitas.com/746174-cuauhtemoc-blanco-america-correria-ricardo-pelaez/
LaVolpe throwing the players under the bus again. This time calling them out by name: “No es que no hagan caso, el único que captó, volantea y sigue mis indicaciones es Oribe, los demás como Arroyo, Darwin y demás son más agresivos y generan menos para el ataque.” Meanwhile Futbol Picante says major changes are coming in the offseason. Out goes Pelaez, Jose Romano, and LaVolpe. In their place would be Santiago Baños, Yon de Luisa, and Piojo. Yes, please! [emoji106]

This....this is not good. Pelaez came up through America.....took us to 4 league finals, won 2....2 concacaf titles. When he took over America the club was a freaking mess. Yes, he had his problems, firing Turco was the wrong move....but bringing in Matosas was (at the time) a celebrated move....the Nacho and Lavolpe hiring made me scratch my head....especially when Lavolpe was allowed to begin this season. Most of his player signings haven't been too bad....except for Chino, that's worked out horribly. The only way I can see this as a positive is that Lavolpe also bounces at the end of the season. I do't have much faith in Yon
It's not as if there is only one man qualified for the job. Him leaving doesn't automatically mean a return to dysfunction. Yes, he improved the club but there are others that can do so even better. As you said, his results were a bit of a mixed bag. Repeatedly missing on coaches is kind of a big deal. It undermines the value of the good player aquisitions you do make. Plus Chino sucks hard. I heard a rumour that Pelaez and Piojo had a falling out. So in order to bring him back, Pelaez might have had to go. If true, I accept those terms.

Did Lainez pick up a minor injury or something? Otherwise, I cannot understand the rationale for benching him for a defensive midfielder. It appeared to be just a cowardly attempt to bunker at home. When so short on offensive players, benching one of the few options you have seems foolish. Unsurprisingly, the offense finally picked up as soon as he came on. Pinche LaVolpe making it easy to can his ass after the season.
Pablo's suspension got dropped down to the original 10 games, meaning he will be available if we make the semis.
Three straight losses to end the season, with two being at home. Only one point was needed to make liguilla. I'm at a loss for words. Yes, fire LaVolpe immediately. Even if Piojo weren't an option, still fire him. Ugh.
