That Alexander Bahr kid that plays at Atlanta United is one of the kids my cousin alluded to when I asked him, what other Hondurans play with him at Atlanta United's U-17s.

Also it's important to note that Alexander's sister is Elexa Bahr. She recently played with the U-20 Honduran WNT that got bounced out by the USA in semis. She was the lone star player of the U-20 team that reached the Semis.

The family’s patriarch, Alex Bahr, was born in Tela, Honduras, and had a 16-year professional soccer career in Honduras, Mexico and the United States, including a stint with the Atlanta Silverbacks. He’s now in his third season as an assistant for the Buford boys soccer team.

Both Rigoberto Rivas and Paolo Belloni out of the u20 wc, the coach will not call them up because their teams don not want to release them for the training camp before the WC. Also it now looks likely that we will lose Paolo Belloni as well.

Rigoberto on the other hand.. lock him down.. even tho I don't think he qualifies for any other NT besides ours.

Honduras U17 advance to next stage of qualifying for the U17 WC, we could possibly land in Group D with USA and Cuba where the top 2 teams go on to the World Cup in India.

Hopefully Panama win the group then we can avoid Costa Rica and Mexico and actually have a good chance of going to the WC, surprising considering that we thought that this group would flame out.

Confirmed Honduras U17 will play their qualification in Group D with USA and Cuba/Suriname.

All we need to do is beat Cuba/Suriname and we qualify so unless we choke then we are in. The stand out of this team seems to be Carlos Mejia who has 3 goals, he is the one who trialed with Man City a while back.
