Playing well. Just had an assist. BVB is down 1-2 atm.

Edit: Goal after a great solo. Down 2-3 now, BVB does too many easy mistakes in the defense currently.

Indeed - he can be offside or not even kick the ball and it end in the net. Good form.

Too bad that Borussia was forced to play today. But who said that world is fair. Bender scoring an own goal with a nice header, Piszczek passes the ball badly and it endd with a goal... Most of them surely weren't 100%. But Shinji delivered this time.

 

Hard to be happy with UEFA when they make you play less than 24 hours after one of your center backs is injured by a terrorist attack....and your center backs make 2 errors leading to goals in a rare home loss.

 

Don't think it was a penalty though. And the goal was offside.

I think he intended to score the first one as well but Dembele kind of took it instead.
Defense bad as usual, but they got unlucky as well.
Falcao clipped the defender in a sneaky play to get free for his header, and the other goal was offside and lucky to begin with. Third goal is inexcusable.

 

Had a strong match in Monaco, created many chances, good interplay with Reus. Unfortunately the BVB defense was the usual shaky self and fell behind by two goals after 20min. Lost the match 1-3 in the end.

Watching BVB I wonder why Dembele is still allowed to play from deep in the midfield, I stopped counting how often he lost the ball or misplaced a pass from there. He's definitely worth more closer to the goal. /rant

 

Last chance for Shinji to reach UCL semifinals (Or not?).

Now that UCL is gone his transfer is the next big topic about him.
