Great strike from Grealish: https://my.mixtape.moe/txdgva.mp4 EDIT: some extra angles - https://my.mixtape.moe/dmdbac.mp4
I agree with you here. It'll be a great opportunity to take a proper look at some of the lads who haven't featured in the other age groups and bring some new people into the set up. I'd like to see Crowley, Matt Cash, Kasey Palmer etc all getting a proper look in.
Was it just me or did anyone else notice the cock up on ITV4 last night when talking with Boothroyd about the upcoming U21 Championship, they did a team of who he could have and they included 24 year old Ben Gibson?!
I was aware they put him on the list - but didn't realise he was 24. You get all manner of balls-ups when it comes to "youth players". (they'll often say a player is playing a year above, when they aren't).
Well, looks like Mourinho is making his feelings clear about Rashford going to the Euro's so I think we can scrub his name from this Summers squad. I Don't back the FA to stand up to him if he's ( Mourinho) playing hard ball http://www.manchestereveningnews.co...nchester-united-news-marcus-rashford-12925507
His arguments are a nonsense even on the surface level. Rashford doesn't play for Man Utd's under-23s because he's a full-time member of their senior squad, but he isn't a full-time member of England's senior squad. If he was, then he wouldn't be considered for the under-21 Euros - just as Stones, Alli, Sterling, and Dier haven't entered into the conversation. But you have to expect club managers to say this stuff. They always will. If you think it's in England's interests, you've just got to take the players regardless.
With Ibra out until at least 2018 Rashford is now the main striker of United (until United gets a new striker) so it makes sense that Mourinho doesn't want to risk him - of course he wouldn't say that out loud.
So no sign of RLC on the bench for Chelsea tonight. This really has been a wasted season for him only getting some minutes here and there, he really needs a good loan next season surely unless he's happy picking up his large pay packet twiddling his thumbs on the bench or in the stands. Such a shame and very frustrating at the same time as there is a huge talent there imo.
They bring this on themselves though. How can they still be so ignorant about how Chelsea (and Premier League clubs in general) operate? If I had a lad in one of these academies he'd be signing a deal until he was 19 and no further. Then we'd see who offered and best prospects and go from there.
We could potentially see Solanke, Willock and Adarabioyo all leave because not accepting contracts so it's starting to happen?
Yes indeed and it's fair to say Tosin has stagnated this season due to hardly playing any football. The problem is when these guys don't sign new contracts it seems Clubs are just willing to let them rot in the reserves for a season which just doesn't sit well with me when they should be getting experience playing somewhere. I think this will be a common theme for years to come.
If Rodgers and Celtic are smart, they can really benefit from this. They can point to the Moussa Dembele example of how much it'll help the players and be a great advertisement with almost guaranteed CL football.
Celtic have been linked to both Willock and Adarabioyo in the papers. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...news/celtic-eye-summer-swoop-arsenal-10020235 http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...s/celtic-eye-manchester-city-defender-9645044 The big potential returns on being able to sign out of contract youngsters from English football on the cheap is something that both Celtic and Rangers must be acutely aware of.
It seems that Boothroyd will not have to decide between Shaw or Chilwell, as the former has ligament damages.
Shaw should get out of Manchester and sign with Liverpool. It hasn't anything to do with his injuries but the way he's being treated by Mourinho is ridiculous, unless there's something about Shaw we don't know about him. He should be an immediate starter over Milner or when Gomez is properly fit again.
Never going to happen for various reasons. For one Liverpool and Manchester United are loathe to do transfer dealings with each other. However, the fact that Liverpool seem to be making Sessegnon a high priority target for that position is very interesting from an England perspective.
I know it's the Express but I hope the FA are gonna get tough ( have my doubts though) http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...rcus-Rashford-FA-England-Under21s-Gossip-News
