You got it - lol he has a cup final coming up and want to wear them. Think he's decided to get the new CR7 as it goes with his kit lol. I was more concerned that they would split rather than decreasing the value because I know if they sit in the box and don't get work they become stiff. Crazy boots though mad to think they were only £240 when they were released. appleCORR
Legend; I miss him around here. Still exchange posts/comments w/him on Facebook from time to time. I'd leave them in the box mostly b/c they generally were viewed as poor performers and I'd want to be sure I didn't have issues in a cup final, but that is just me.
Totally agree & that's what I told him. Was it Drogba who had a pair that split on the pitch? He was great on here. Ahhh, the good old days! That was when the off topic thread used to go crazy! Mainly with Case insulting me!! Haha! appleCORR
OG... By the way, check https://www.instagram.com/blogsochuteiras too see what my cobbler did with my Mania and Precision....
Toe box is a bit smaller on the 5. I have a friend who wore a size 11 US in the 4s who had to go up to 11.5 in the 5s.
I went a size up in the 5s too. Nice boot once they have broken in a bit. They are the ones I'm wearing the most at the moment. appleCORR
The 5s are true to size for my feet. Definitely more snug than magistas or hypervenoms, but they've been perfect post break in. No personal experience, but everything I've heard is that the current vapors are a tighter fit than the superflys. You should be good in a US10.
Okay thank you. just another question, if i have a chance to buy the hypervenom 1's and vapor 11s for the same price, around 130USD, which would u go for?
Vapors for me. While the Hypervenom 1's were a great boot for me, their durability factor wasn't the greatest. sides over expanded and the upper tore pretty easily.
yea thats my concern as well, but i think if i stick to playing on FG surfaces only, not turf, will the durability hold? the hypervenoms have the best feel for me personally, but the vapors are very good too
I have a chance to buy cheap Nike Magista Obra 2. I do wear a ankle support on my dodgy left ankle. Would I be able to wear Obras 2 with ankle support? And if not, is it possible to cut off the dynamic fit collar off? Thanks P.S. I wear Shock Doctor Ankle stabilizer.
You could cut the sock off I don't think that would be a problem as it would be hard to wear an ankle support with the collar as it's fair snug fitting (and for me) it takes a bit of wiggling my foot about and pulling the collar around to get my foot in the boot so I think it might be even harder for you to get them on. Unless they are cheap cheap and you don't mind taking the risk that they might not actually fit you all too well you should be fine, why don't you just go with the low cut version? surely they'd be better for you? appleCORR
Found an used pair in good condition for only AUD $60. Still mulling over it or cheap adidas ace 15.1 synthetic ones.
That's a good price - have to admit I wasn't really a big fan of the Ace 15.1 found them to be really stiff only wore mine a few times then gave them away. appleCORR
from what i've heard it doesn't really, but you can burn it a little so it doesn't fray further and sorta melts together
Think they'll be easier than the 2's tbh. the 1's seem to use a more uniform look vs the 2's that have that ankle bit protruding out. Might try it on my old superfly elastico
Yeah but if you want to cut them low it won't make much difference if you cut along where the sock joins the boot. appleCORR
