Can't explain why it may be different for you. I logged in with my directv (which doesn't include fs plus) and no fox soccer plus programming, but my spectrum/twc account (which does include fs plus), does show fs plus content. IMG_1441.JPG IMG_1440.JPG

So thus far, BVB hasn't been on FS1 in 2017. Nine Bund matches, all have been bumped to FS2 or FS+. The derby with Schalke on Sat is on FS2. Next week's game is also in FS2. So first 11 league matches of this year for BVB sees not a single one on FS1 after regularly being on FS1 in 2016.

Neither of their UCL matches have been on FS1 either in 2017.

Seems to me this is 100% intentional to get fans to pay/subscribe to watch BVB/Pulisic as few get FS2 and need to pay for foxsoccer2go. I contacted them about it and am waiting on a response.

Have we ever seen this before where a media outlet intentionally doesn't put matches from a popular yank abroad on their main channel? Dempsey was always on tv. NBC even put a number of Sunderland matches on NBCSN when Yedlin was there. Same with Jozy. beIN showcased Bradley at Roma/Chievo. But suddenly a top 10 club globally with Pulisic regularly starting can't make it onto FS1?

    Bullshit.

Wynalda is so bad at everything he does, but even worse commentating a game.

It's weird that things like the female Canadian curling championships and Australia-NZ-South Africa rugby are covered better in the U.S. than the Bundesliga.

    But that's FOX for ya.

During HT of today's Bundesliga match on FS1 there was a camera shot of one of the Mainz players pouring cold water down his shorts.

This made Kate Abdo make an interesting "Oh" sound immediately followed by her saying "I have never seen that before".

Kind of an awkward moment but the noise she made was sexy. :p

According to this topic, BVB was on FS1 this morning, and FS1 could have chosen second place Red Bull Leipzig, who are a surprise like Leicester City was. 8 out of 29 of BVB's Bundesliga games were on Fox or Fox Sports 1, which is 27.6 percent. After tomorrow, 59 out of 261 Bundesliga games will have been on Fox or Fox Sports 1, which is 22.6 percent.

    http://awfulannouncing.com/fox/2018-world-cup-fox-plans-cover-mexican-team-second-home-team.html
Interesting tidbits concerning 2018 World Cup coverage:

    1) FOX wants to cover Mexico like a 2nd Home team which I think could work since Fernando Fiore knows a lot about them due to kissing their butts on Univision the last few decades.
And it is nice to see them try and grab English Speaking Latinos away from Telemundo. On the other hand it could make some USA fans a bit sick watching all the segments and features on Mexican players, coaches, fans, trainers, water boys, etc. ( USA fans like Like me who tend to stay away from Telemundo/Univision's Mexican slanted propaganda) :p So I hope they focus more on the USA in some complicity.

    2) The most interesting reveal is that they want to put more matches on OTA "Simpsons" FOX Network affiliates. This is fantastic news and one of the main reasons why I like the move away from ESPN. More matches should be on your main Network. This is the World Cup for Pete's sake. All USA matches, Mexico matches and other show case matches should be OTA in my opinion.

    FoxSoccer2Go is currently streaming a Bundesliga2 match (Stuttgart-Union Berlin). I hadn't seen them show a Bundesliga 2 match before.

One thing that baffles me about Fox's Bundesliga coverage is why they use the BT Sport announcers when they're not using Strong or Ian Joy or someone else in-house. They're fine and all, but I always find it amusing that they have to mute these guys mid-promo when they're touting an upcoming match on BT Sport. So Fox obviously has someone watching these matches with his finger on a button the whole time.

Why they don't just use the English world feed announcers instead I'll never know; guys like Phil Bonnie are really pretty good and have been calling the Bundesliga for years, and they're not going to throw in a promo for a foreign network.

World feeds can sometimes be a little bland inevitably as they try to be country-neutral, but the Bundesliga commentators have always been first-rate. Actually Derek Rae was on the world feed last weekend

It is amusing that Fox tries to mute the BTSport promos - something they never did back when they used to air Sky Sports News, even though that show would promote all kinds of events not airing in the US

In my opinion, they should make Ian Joy their number one analyst. To me he is their only guy with the combination of delivery and substance who knows what he is talking about. You get plenty of Xs and Os from him. He'll give you in 5 minutes what Lalas gives you once every 5 games. But then, he is not American.

FOX made a mistake in their Press release. FC Dallas does not play at Toyota Park. My Chicago Fire does.

Are you serious... Toyota did naming rights for 2 stadiums in the same league??? Isn't that a bit of a no-no?! Or is one of those deals just about to end, so they'd be left with just one? Still, seems a pretty dumb move for Toyota & MLS to allow this confusion.

Is two Toyota places any different than having D.C. United, Atlanta United, and Minnesota United?
