I can't tell if he played or not, but Konrad's Cadete A won 7 - 1 against Damm (which is a pretty Damm good beer in Spain and may explain their loss).

Lederman's team won 10 - 0 but he did not feature.

Konrad made the all-Masia team of the week and got this nice, brief write-up:

Konrad de la Fuente (Cadete A): Jugador rapidísimo y muy versátil. Está cogiendo protagonismo en este final de temporada y está afortunado de cara al gol. Ante el Lleida lo volvió a demostrar.

A very fast and versatile player. He is beginning to take center stage in this end of season and has been fortunate in front of the goal. Against *Lleida he proved it again.

    http://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/once-semana-cantera-del-barca-5931531

*He scored the third in a 0 - 3 win for Cadete A.

I watched this kid play for the first time today (a game from yesterday), and he can really play. I have a feeling this thread is going to start to get a lot of attention soon. He has natural talent in ball control, dribbling, athleticism, creativeness that give defenders a lot of trouble. He doesn't just blend in, he's a ball-dominant player. He also seems to be a good finisher. He's not all the way there yet with his decision making and can be very error-prone, but he has some really high potential I think.

So he made the team of the tweak two weeks in a row? Thats pretty good, but not at all surprising. Do they have the blurbs like they usually do with a description of their play?

Konrad De la Fuente (Cadete A): Su estancia con la selección de Estados Unidos le ha venido muy bien para sentirse importante. Estuvo muy participativo y generó varias ocasiones de peligro. Marcó el tercer gol del partido.

His recent call up with the USA team has served him well and [boosted his confidence]. He was very active and generated many dangerous chances. He scored the game's third goal.

Yup, sounds like him. This kid is really good. He should be playing with our U-17's in WCQ right now.

I've only watched him a few times, but quite frankly, I think he might be better than all of them, besides Carleton, and even then, he's a year younger, so lets see where he's at in a year. But he easily could take Villegas spot or Reynolds spot. He is very dynamic, wrecks havoc, makes things happen out of nowhere. He could be Emmanuel Sabbi level eventually or could be Ousmane Dembele level eventually, maybe somewhere in between as well, but I think he might be a little closer to Dembele level right now, although its still early. He's that type of pure speed, ball control, unpredictable creative force type of player right now.

Exciting how he continues to stand out amongst his peers at La Masia. Whether he's named to the team of the week or awarded goal of the week, it seems like he's been recognized on a consistent basis these past few months.

I think thats him standing next to Ben Lederman, not 100% sure, but I am like 95% sure. He should be moving up to Juvenil B for this season.

Yep, and another from this week -
    - they will both be on Barca's Juvenil B at the start of the season.

I might have to find a way to catch their games. :)

That's De la Fuente on the left?

He was a small child just a year ago.

Playing w/ juvenil B means he's playing up a year, correct?

No, his regular age group. Juvenil B is the lesser 00's and the rest are 01's.

Ah, ok. Ledermans presence on the team had me confused. Would be nice if they both get called into a U-17 camp
