It topped the charts in the UK, but it sold well below what EA was expecting. They haven't released sales figures, but I highly doubt it will reach 3 mil lifetime let alone 6 mil. It sold below ME 2 and 3 and barely beat ME 1 first week sales
845262909248823296 is not a valid tweet id It's sad that ME:A is so underwhelming though. I do like the combat, but the story is so disappointing. They also have done a weird job getting the tone and behavior for the various races right. I guess the Krogan are still Krogan, but it's hard to ******** that up. But I don't recognize the Salarians in ME:A compared to how they were portrayed in the original trilogy. I feel the same, to a lesser extent, for the Turians.
Finally beat Breath Of The Wild. Played it for around 120 hours And Im not even quite done, because I still have some shrines to find and solve, although I doubt I will do all of them. I've done 90 shrines so far. Amazing game. Dont know what else to say, other than Im stunned by Nintendo. Didnt know they could create a game of this magnitude. The only minor complaint I have is the lost memories mission. I wonder if it could have been done differently or excluded in its entirety. It was a real grind finding those memory locations, so much so that I had to watch a youtube walkthrough for 3 of the memories, because I simply did not have the patience. I honsestly did not get the point. Aside from that, this is one of the best games I have ever played.
So I have advanced a bit more in "Mass Effect: Andromeda". I am starting to enjoy it more, even though the writing is still subpar. I am starting to skip a lot of the dialogue, because so much of it is so very boring and bad. But the gameplay on Voeld was fun.
Classic SNES on the way.... http://wwg.com/2017/04/19/nintendo-working-on-snes-classic-edition-launch-by-christmas/
And I'm sure stock will be in limited supply, and Urban Outfitters will pull some shit again where you can buy it online, but actually not be able to.
Picked up Pure Chess on the xbox during the spring sale last week, pretty good chess game. The online aspect works perfectly with suspend mode, I was watching something on Netflix and whenever I got a notification it was my move I was able to just jump into the game and then back to my show smoothly. If you are super cool (I am not) you can have eight online games going at once.
Got to put some time into Cities Skylines on the xbox and so far so good. The controllers are incredibly easy to use and by the end of my play session this morning I felt like I was setting up just the right grid size for zoning. Still plenty to go before making a firm judgement on the game, big question is how scaled back the game is on console compared to PC.
So I have kept on going in "Mass Effect: Andromeda". I'm now past Kadara and have just played Cora's loyalty mission (with the Asari Ark) and my experience has improved from the first hours of playing this. It's still my least favorite of the four "Mass Effect" games by some distance, but I can no longer claim that I haven't enjoyed some missions and even some of the writing.
Month out from E3 but I wanted to put two predictions out there. 1.Playerunknown's Battleground will be made available on the Xbox One through their early access program. 2.Cities Skylines for the PS4 will be announced and released during their version of "Summer of Arcade" Speaking of Cities Skylines, really wish they had a "High Speed Internet" policy, that would be pretty sweet.

Called it http://kotaku.com/sources-bioware-m..._source=Kotaku_Facebook&utm_medium=Socialflow Sources: BioWare Montreal Downsized, Mass Effect Put On Ice For Now Jason Schreier In the wake of BioWare’s polarizing Mass Effect: Andromeda, fans have wondered where the lauded sci-fi series will go next. The answer, according to people familiar with the studio, is nowhere—at least for the time being. BioWare has put Mass Effect on hiatus and turned Andromeda’s developer, BioWare Montreal, into a support studio, according to four sources close to the company. That doesn’t mean there will never be another Mass Effect game, of course. It’s unlikely that BioWare will kill the popular sci-fi franchise. But BioWare is letting Mass Effect sit for a while rather than putting staff on Andromeda’s follow-up right away, those sources said. Last month, a number of BioWare Montreal employees were transferred to the studio EA Motive, also based in Montreal, to work on Star Wars Battlefront II. Those remaining at BioWare Montreal will help support BioWare’s other games including the new intellectual property, code-named Dylan, which we expect the company to announce at E3. BioWare Montreal will also continue to patch and support Andromeda’s multiplayer. BioWare’s main studio in Edmonton is heading up Dylan, while BioWare’s other studio, in Austin, is also helping out with that game. When reached for comment, publisher Electronic Arts sent over the following statement, attributed to BioWare Montreal studio director Yanick Roy: Our teams at BioWare and across EA put in tremendous effort bringing Mass Effect Andromeda to players around the world. Even as BioWare continues to focus on the Mass Effect Andromeda community and live service, we are constantly looking at how we’re prepared for the next experiences we will create. The teams in EA Worldwide Studios are packed with talent, and more than ever, we are driving collaboration between studios on key projects. With our BioWare and Motive teams sharing studio space in Montreal, we have BioWare team members joining Motive projects that are underway. We’re also ramping up teams on other BioWare projects in development. There will be much more to come from BioWare in the years ahead. Mass Effect: Andromeda, released in March, was originally envisioned as a reboot for the franchise but went through a brutal development process for several reasons including technological challenges and a major scope change late in development, people familiar with the game said. Reception to Andromeda was lukewarm, and people scoffed at its writing and animation. (Our review called it flawed and uneven.) Andromeda was also the first game headed up by BioWare Montreal, which was founded in 2009 to help make downloadable content for Mass Effect 2 and 3. Although BioWare’s other two studios, Austin and Edmonton, also contributed to Andromeda, the game’s director, franchise producer, and leads were all based in Montreal. BioWare Edmonton had developed the first three Mass Effect games. Now, sources say, BioWare Montreal is significantly smaller than it was just a few months ago. Those who didn’t go to Motive will help out with BioWare’s other projects rather than incubating and developing their own. Earlier this week on an earnings call, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson told investors that the publisher is “very happy with how BioWare is doing, how BioWare is treating Mass Effect. And our expectations for Mass Effect are still strong for the future and the franchise overall.” Wilson also put a great deal of emphasis on “live service” games, of which BioWare’s new IP is one. That’s the studio’s main focus for the time being.
I"m always intrigued and curious about the Far Cry series, especially when a new game comes out. Have always tried them, and cannot get drawn in much. That said, Far Cry 5 is out in Feb 2018, with some PS4 exclusive content.
In the same boat with ya, try the game out, don't get particularly attached with anything in it and set the game aside. Setting the game in the US, dealing with a religious separatist cult is a pretty ballsy move by Ubisoft. Not to mention the extra pub the game got after the incident between the Montana politician and reporter. I actually wonder if any mention of the game being set in Montana or the US will be scrubbed before publication.
We will see. Read that there is co-op play through the entire campaign. That greatly increases my chances of playing through the whole game.
The Far Cry games are a bit like Assassin's Creed to me (both Ubisoft games), they always look really cool and I have a blast roaming around the amazing environment for about 15 or so hours but then I get bored and never actually finish them
Seeing how I never got around to finishing the Division and still working on Wildlands I saY that is me with all Ubisoft open world games. Welp, my desire to play Battlegrounds out weighs my disdain for mouse keyboard. Gonna finally try and learn m/k controls.
Looking forward to e3, particularly nintendos conference. Obviously super mario odyssey is the main game of interest, but also want see new stuff announced. Nintendo need to make an impression to get the momentum going for their newly released system. Right now my switch is collecting dust in a box, after having finished zelda rofl Would be cool to see what retro is working on (metroid prime/donkey kong) My most anticipated game, aside from mario odyssey, has to be the last of us part 2. Wanna see some gameplay and perhaps a release date.
another E3 prediction, if it is true that Sony has snagged the advertising rights to FIFA 18 I bet EA Access is announced for the PS4.
another E3 guess, with Windjammers closed beta going on during the weekend of June 8th-12, I'm guessing the beta will be announced open and live after Sony's press conference
