The best style of football is to play winning football. Playing pretty is nice but winning comes first and real madrid do that just fine. Hipsters & nerds who never play the game are more concerned with style of play than winning.

Where exactly do you see people wanting to spend 100 million on 18 year old? Secondly, you do not make such conclusions based just on goals. His ability to feint / run past opponents, ability to score goals, strong character...etc.. This is why he is impressive.

As such I don`t see correlation with Balloteli nor Martial let alone Depay who in comparison with Mbappe looks like a pile of junk.

The correlation are that there two failed players in harder leagues that having been tearing up the french league since going there so i dont take much stock from performing in the french league .

I martial was tearing teams to shreds last season when he was a unknown and teams werent used to him , this season hes been getting marked far more and given little space as teams have figured him out now and realise hes a threat which is why he is struggling and the same will happen with mbappe ...

So many players cant handle the pressure of being at a huge club with a massive price tag on there head where there expected to perform great all season pogba other example.

the hardest thing to do in football is to be consistently good and in my opinion i dont think we should be gambling ridiculous sums of money just for a one season kid .

There was a guy who played in the eredivise at very young age, great player and after ONE fantastic season he change club and went to a topteam.
    RONALDO phenomeno

If mbappe is really that good we should go for him, otherwise we will have to pay the twice after some years.

Not only is Isco better but James is better. We hardly have room for either of them where the hell will Hazard play lol

We just need to focus on removing Benz from the starting line-up everything else will be more dynamic after that.

Ronaldo has been playing very well up front for Portugal no reason he can't do it here. We have so many options after that. Playing Bale on the left James on the right or vice versa, playing Isco in a free role up forward and allowing more space for Marcelo, playing Isco more in Modric's role with James on the field, playing James in the free role up front and the list goes on and on.

Sell Benzema figure out a new dynamic. No need for players like Hazard when you have Isco, James and Asensio.

You play hideous football that's a fact. You haven't played entertaining football since Carlo ditched the 442 with Isco/James out wide.

Over 70% of your goals this season have been from crosses & set pieces.

So he's overrated because he plays in the Premier League? That's your argument. Incredible. You should've never bought Bale, Ronaldo & Modric then.

Anyway, these discussions are moot unlike the past you can't actually afford the Premier League's best anymore & I can't see Hazard wanting to uproot his family to move to Spain.

Zidane & Uncle Flo are just chasing shadows. Hazard is just as unattainable as Messi & Neymar are at this point.

Except those Premier League players are desperate for a move to Real or Barcelona because that's top of the world, where the big boys are.

It's all fun and games in the EPL but RM & Barca won the last 3 Champions Leagues. Bayern and Juventus are closest to competition that RM & Barca had in the last 3 years.

That's why we have equal most shots per game in Europe and equal 2nd in shots on target, because our style of football is so bad lmao

Oh not to mention top of La Liga and into the QFs of the UCL

I don't think we are doing too badly lol

We can improve but stop with the hyperbole please

If Real Madrid wants a player bad enough, they will come up with the money If the player wants to leave like in all transfers. Look at Bale. Look at Ronaldo. Look at Kaka. Should I continue?Where has this idea that Real Madrid cant afford the best players anymore come from?

I expect a shopping spree from Florentino depending on how we finish the season.

PL's best Bale and Suarez went to Spain. Now they have the likes of Mahrez, Hazard as face of the league Lol. He was complete shit last season. Hazard has done shit at CL level. Mou even called out his lazy ass when Atletico gave them a beating at home. So go worry about mediocre teams there. We are fine winning 2 CLs in 3 years.

He's overrated 'cos he wasn't even Top 100 player in the world last year.

I doubt it's Real Madrid begging for Hazard. Hasn't he been practically begging for one of the big Spanish clubs to come for him since he got to England? Lmao

I rather have Chicharito back if I had to choose between the two.

Real Madrid meet with Brazilian wonder kid Alan's agent

Youthful talent is very much on the agenda at Real Madrid with the agent of Palmeiras starlet Alan Souza Guimaraes meeting club president Florentino Perez and CEO Jose Angel Sanchez

Juan Figer's meeting with Perez and Sanchez is in keeping with Los Blancos' desire to keep tabs on the best young products across the world, although a deal could not be cut until the 2018/19 season at the earliest as Alan, 17, will not be of legal age to leave Brazil until next March.

You still sit there and watch like all the other people who don't like it.To paraphrase Ramos, if you don't like it, turn off the TV.

    Isco is better.

Alan kid looks interesting. Doesn't seem like a pure AM like Ozil. More of a hybrid and a set-piece taker as well. Frame will be like Modric's. 163 cm at 17 and Modric is 171 cm.

You are still missing the point. Which is trying to asses his abilities - scouting, which tells you if he has capacity to play in your team. You look at character, technical attributes, physical attributes and tactical attributes. Based on that Mbappe fits the criteria.

Secondly, you make it sound as if French league is trash. Also, ridiculous sums of money needed for this transfer to happen is just an absurd speculation at this point. Monaco could push such price tag, but purely because they probably don`t wan`t to sell him. The story changes if Mbappe - 18 year old with contract up to 2019, will wan`t to leave. 50-60 million + add ons seems like a proper price.

Reading and comprehension are vital, where did I say he's overrated "because" he plays in the EPL, for Chelsea, for Belgium, in France , I think he disappears when the going get's tough, it's about him not where he plays, I did not "rate" him I just stated an opinion,

I think you'll find also it's not about affording the EPL's best, I can't think of anyone there that would improve our team significantly at the moment but, some players like to step up, in my humble opinion, Madrid and yeah Farca are a step up from any team in the EPL, it's not just about the money, prestige counts for some players too, Chelsea/ Madrid?, no comparison,

if players want to move they find a way to move so I am not concerned about Hazard being unattainable ( personally I'd be happy if he was) Ronaldo was unattainable, Modric, Gareth, blah blah blah the EPL didn't just have money yesterday , if Hazard wants to come he will find a way to come, whether we pay a lot or not, it's not just about the money which I imagine we can afford anyway so, moving on.
