I a bit nervous about this game. I really want to see TFC win, especially for the home opener. We've had trouble scoring so far this year, however. KC is a decent team and has owned TFC for the past few seasons.

If we have our full line up out there, I'm going to be optimistic and say that TFC rides the opening day crowd support to a 3-1 victory. (It's a sunny day today and I'm feeling cheerful, so why not?)

If we go with a secondary line up to rest people returning from international duty, it could be a lot closer.

I can't see a secondary lineup for the home opener - but I'm not up to date on who's got bumps and bruises - aside from Seba.

No Feilhaber, he picked up a knock in training and didn't travel. Is Giovinco ready to go? If he is, things are looking good for you guys, I'd say.

Got to watch the 2nd half of the game, we created a few half decent chances but really nothing clear cut besides Seba free kick off the crossbar. Not the worst result in the world but still like to see the us rack up points at home.

Edwards possibly MOTM. Very impressed - though he probably should have done better with all the space he got in the second half

No one else is concerned that in 4 matches we have produced 3 goals from open play and 2 of them came after the opponent was reduced to 10 men?

Ok, "stay calm and draw nil nil"

not when we only gave up 2 goals in 4 games. Defense looks set...its going to take some games for guys to get going offensively...the 2 week break, and Seba injury doesn't help that. Osario should have had 2 in the first half alone...timing.

fair enough....not sure though why so many (ie nearly all) other teams have managed better offensive output and how, for example, an expansion team has been able to find their timing so much faster than us.

Stay Calm and draw nil nil!

true. haven't seen all goals in the league...some maybe individual efforts, which we would normally have gotten from Seba in 4 games so far. Remember how he was a high percentage of our goal total early last year. Its not there for him right now. RSL he didn't fare well but should have had 1 on a penalty. Hurt in game 2. Missed game 3. Timing off game 4 but did make some extraordinary passes for guys who didn't finish. Altidore has looked good, but tired probably last night from travel and mid week game.

Also, factor in that they went deep into early December, then training in February. Not a lot of time off. Off a high (or low) of an MLS cup game that they should have won. Might be thinking and feeling they are the class of the league and should win. Yup, got to put it in on the field. But what I see is a strong defensive side of the field. Bradley is getting better! Central D looks strong especially Moor. Seeing strength out wide with Baiteshour, Morrow and now Edwards. Vasquez definite upgrade in the midfield.

^ I also see a strong defensive side.....but my concern was about our goal scoring (more specifically lack thereof).

I think when you have Altidore and Seba up top you have to think some point their quality will shine and the goals will start coming in which for myself I am not worried yet about the lack of goals. I am interested to see as the season goes on the battle for the two CM spots between Osorio, Cooper and Velazquez who from the limited times I seen no one has made their mark for those spots.

Osorio is a waste of cleats
Osorio is a worse finisher than Chad Barrett ever was
Osorio looked like he was playing at the wrong level and was only put in the game to show fans that the team is giving opportunities to Canadian players.

Cooper is terrible. He tries too hard to dribble out of tight situations. He thinks he's better than he is, but he isn't. Put Osorio in.

Osorio has a lead foot. He can't finish to save his life and he's only in there because he's Canadian. Put Chapman in.

    [In two weeks]

Chapman? Has Vanney lost the plot? This guy shouldn't be playing above USL level. Put Cheyrou in.

    [In four weeks]

I can't believe Cheyrou hasn't retired yet. He's got nothing left in the tank. We have Osorio and Cooper on the bench - pick one!

So you're saying that the problem is Vanney? ;)
