we are now fighting for that half spot, the only good thing is that if we do beat Costa Rica then the 2nd,3rd and 4th spots would all have 6 points.
It was the first time you lost by at least 6 goals since a 6:0 loss at Japan on November 14, 2014. It was the first time you lost by at least 6 goals in a game that wasn't a friendly in a 6:0 loss to Costa Rica in the Central American games on April 3, 1935.
Pinto needs to call up Jona there are no more excuses he is our best striker at this point, let's be honest Alberth Elis has been ass these last games for us and Lozano is Lozano.
The BEST case scenario for us to finish out this week is for Panama to Bunker down and tie vs the USA at home, that would leave Panama with 5 points and USA at. And if win vs CR (which at this point looks unlikely) we would still have 6 points tied with CR but in 3rd place.
I pray that this last game was a fluke and wakes us up, I mean even CR and Mex got thrashings and came back from it. This next game is a must win for us and i still believe that we are better than Panama and T&T and have a chance to fight for that 3rd spot or get the Half spot.
Honduras U20 falls to Korea 3-2, Goals were an Auto gol and one from Jorge Alvarez. http://www.diez.hn/laseleccion/1056...de-honduras-debuta-perdiendo-en-corea-del-sur Positive result imo considering that the defense of our team is mediocre and Korea is a strong opponent, that Jorge Alvarez kid is something else though.
http://www.diariomas.hn/2017/03/28/video-sub-20-honduras-vuelve-perder-ahora-ecuador/ U-20s lost to Ecuador 2-1. Gol dn Foslyn Grant. Team led, but lost the lead and the game.
This result puts us with a very very slight glimmer of hope, but there's hope. Need to find points on the road and close out strong at home.
So Mexico narrowly escape Trinidad and Tobago with three points, while USA and Panama ends in a 1-1 stalemate in El Rommel Fernandez. Those are two VERY favorable results for Honduras, especially after what happened today in San Pedro Sula.
