Didn't get to watch the game live, just saw the first goal. Fvcking great pass by Vela and finish by Cheech, but how about that reception by Oribe and pass to Vela? [emoji108] [emoji106]

My dvr stopped recording after chicharito got injured but from what I saw...

Vela: when he feels like playing he is sublime. That assist was beautiful

Chicha: keep breaking hearts and shaving heads, it's working for you.

Horrible Peralta: back the bench you bum

Damm: one trick pony. This guy is not national team caliber. He has terrible decision making. Next time call up Chofis

Rafa: I respect everything that he represents but no mameys...

Imma be really upset if we don't see Orbelin in the next match. The doode is on a real high right now and I already know him and Jona would be godly together in that midfield

Vela by far MOTM. Two assists[emoji108]

BTW, Araujo showed a lot of poise today. [emoji122]

    Unfortunately, Chile happened.

And until we win Copa America, or Confederaciones fuera de Mexico (I know it doesn't matter), or el mendigo 5to partido...

That will be the measuring stick for Osorio.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but that's my opinion.

    We ate 7, man.

    Gotta redeem ourselves.

Winning the Hex doesn't make up for it, but it's steering us back in the right direction.

Proper preparation and a serious run in 2018.

    I want the Cup.

    I'll settle for...

    The Cup.

Mexico in 2018. World Cup or bust.

    Who's with Me?

    ******** your expectations.

This place is so negative, I'll take a boring, no stress win any day.

Luckily the goal came early which eased any nerves. Solid performance, key win. They're practically in now.

I don't think anyone had a bad game, not great but there's lots in between. Cheech didn't have a great game but he got the goal so he (rightfully) gets all the love. Oribe was key in the first goal but only gets crapped on. Raul wasn't bad either. I think the only one who disappointed me was Damm. He couldn't seem to make the right decision once or come thru with the execution. I give everyone else a pass.

I was worried that Jona would run out of gas around the 60th minute, but he rambled on. Controlled large swaths of the game. Vela did run out of gas, as evidenced by the counters that never could develop, but Vela at half speed was still enough of a headache for the Ticos to deal with.

Damm did have a bad game, but despite the indecision, he showed how dangerous he can be. Not all of his plays will end up as goals, and he will generate a bunch of plays.

Mexico did what they had to do. They got the well-timed goals, did not make the silly unforced error on defense, and got the Azteca to sing. That made it a good night.

Chicharito had a great game. He also made that great pass that would have finished the game if Damm had realized it was Navas out there and not Campestrini as he tried to dribble him twice instead of shooting. He had a better game than Oribe and Raul imo.

It was a pretty good game for most players. I don't think a single one sucked, even HH.

Vela looked amazing out there. And congrats to Cheech, of course. Besides his historic goal, his pass to Damm might've been the play of the night if the latter had finished it off properly.

Oribe works hard and disrupted build up when CR had the ball. Its his thing.. i like what he did out with dropping in the mid to help build out some plays..

I also like oribe's hustle and the way he creates spaces. But for la seleccion, I rather he came in on 2nd halfs atm. I do hope Raul gets more time tho, you can see the guy has the heart and skill, just needs more luck imo.

That slide tackle called a foul was a massive injustice on Oribe

That ref was keeping CR breathing with some gift ass calls. The only good thing is he lets a lot of play go on without tacky cards.

Unfortunately I don't see him displacing Herrera or Guardado though he's clearly better than both.

There was something wrong with the gif. When I made it I didn't check loop forever, so it was stopping after playing once.
