Thanks. I've popped in a bit before. I think this team is really exciting pushing forward - excited to watch them play.

I'm really split. I love the UMSNT. I'm married to a Catracha and lived in Honduras for 15 months. I watched the 2010 World Cup there, and still travel there frequently. I always pull for La H, but the U.S. need this one badly, and it has me truly split.

I'm Honduran/Salvadoran American, but I root La H because they will always be the underdogs. I'm still a fan of the USMNT but honestly I don't think that they will make the World Cup this year and if they do it will be for that half spot.

  5. I also think that we should be aiming for that half spot.

Why would we aim for a the half-spot when we can qualify directly?

I too agree that this is the most interesting match. Simply because there is so much at stake for the US. I don't think I have ever seen the US so much on the back foot ever in a Hex.

I agree that it is time for Najar to take the next step.

He needs to be "the man" for La H.

Panama loses 1-0 and that is good for us since that only leaves them with a possible 7 points at max if they win their next game vs the US.

His defense has fallen asleep at the wheel on both those goals.

First one, Cheech was played onside by Gonzalez and another defender and it was easy from there.

Second one, Araujo rose above and beyond his marker and hit it with some real authority. Navas really couldn't of done better.
