@ Al ittihady, I disagree with you on your chance in Bangkok, Thailand. For me,

    Thailand Win: 20%
    KSA Win: 30%
    Draw: 50%

For me, the most probable results which I put them in order (Note that my prediction is the second one):

    1. Thailand 1-1 KSA
    2. Thailand 1-2 KSA
    3. Thailand 2-2 KSA

Compare to us Iran (I do not want to talk about other teams here and that is why I said compare to Iran), Saudi Arabia is definitely a much better team when It comes to collecting points against lesser oppositions. With respect to you, I believe when It comes to getting better results against very strong oppositions like Australia, Japan, and Korea, Iran is a better team than Saudi Arabia but not as much as you are better than us in terms of collecting points against lesser oppositions. So for the games like away Thailand game in the final round of WCQs, I trust Saudi Arabia more than at least Iran, do not want to talk about the rest.

SA secured a very important 3-0 win against Thailand. It wasn't as comfortable as it looks, but the win was absolutely necessary considering the tougher away matches ahead.

The next game is at home vs. Iraq on Tuesday, it will be a huge game and could be a decisive one once the group stage games are finished.

Congratulation for your win in Bangkok today. Saudi Arabia should not slack off at any point during the campaign. They should keep it up. The focus should be shifted to the next game for Saudi Arabia from now. Congratulation again.

The coming match against Iraq will definitely be the deciding factor for KSA to keep the pace on tightening their grip on the top spot's. This is a must win for KSA.

Apparently Yahya's cleared goal in the first half not worthy of making the highlights according to the AFC's editor

When I try to see the highlights posted by AFC, i get message "the uploader has not made this video available for your country"... and nothing shows up... Is this AFC's way promoting Asian Football ?... What a disgrace.

I have always noticed that they often miss important action and include random half chances to be in line with their write up. But this time they went to far.

I don't understand why Marwijk is experimenting now by selecting new faces at this stage when he should simply consider already proven players in the national team for the upcoming all important game against Australia.

Surely, the 4 new faces are talented but they lack any international experience and to play any and / or all of them in the most important match against Australia (that can decide the qualification) is unimaginable and these new faces are not ready to coupe the pressure.

Marwijk really needs to consider Salem Al Dawsary to be back in the Saudi National Team (if not Ahmed Al Fraidy) and should also see to drop Naif Hazzazi due to lack of match played. We don't want bench warmers in the national team.

Marwijk really needs to see the form of players as well as the international match experience (for e.g., Salem Al Dawsary is the best example) for all important match against Australia that can decide the qualification of Saudi team if Saudi wins.

Saudi Team for internal camp in Riyadh -

I repeat its not final selection for Australia match but I was hoping atleast he could arrange friendly with either team

What is this guy saying ?... Also, I am anxiously waiting for AUS v KSA match...
ACL matches are not important when compared to this match... Saudi players should concentrate more on winning this match than anything else... This is your ticket to World Cup, don't miss it.

At least "Draw" this match if you can't win...

Saudi Arabia has more players to miss the match against Australia:

Fahad Al Muwallad declared unfit to play the match against Australia after medical test.
Yasser Al Shahrani unfit to play the match against Australia since he needs time to recover from his injury and operation
Nawaf Alabid to miss due to Yellow Card...

I hope Marwjik selects "Salem Al Dowsary" for this match otherwise, there's no creativity in the mid-field...

Who are you talking about? Fahd Al Muwallad ?...
Also, is Naif Hazzazi dropped by the Dutch Coach ?... Australian coach has selected almost the same team with only 5 or 6 new faces but Aussie still is a pretty strong team to play against.

Lets see if Marwijk plays with 4-4-2 formation wherein, what would be an ideal starting 11 out of below payers in each of your opinion ?

    My Choice is as follows:

    Goal Keeper: Yasser Al Musailem
Defenders: Mohammed Al Buraik, Osama Howsavi, Abdullah Hafiz, Abdullah Al Zori, Mansoor Al Harbi
Mid-Field: Taiser Al Jasim, Salem Al Dowsary, Salman Al Faraj, Abdullah Autef
Attack: Nasir Al Shamrani and Sahlawi

@hammad_friend - You want to play with 12 Players against Australia??

Anyways decent team selection. I don't know when was the last a NT played a major international match without a player from Ittihad, even though they don't deserve it much..I was hoping to see Jamal Bagandoh atleast but he has got lot to time to prove him self..

    My XI - 4-5-1
    Yasser Musailem
    Saeed Muwallad-OsamahHawsawi-Omar Hawsawi-Buraik
    Tayseer-Salman
    Salem-Yahya-AbdulFatah Assiri
Nasser Shamrani ( I hope he replicates his form with Ain with NT too. He had some cool finishing though in recent games)

Oops, I forgot to delete Mansoor AlHarbi... :)
hmm... good team selection above. Having Salem back has given a lot of option to look into...

Following squad is selected by Australian Coach to face Saudi Arabia.
Almost same players that played against Saudi Arabia apart from 3 or 4.
