If the rumor is true that we are after Monchi, Perez won't be doing the transfers. Also, Mbappe is FAAAAAAAAR from a Galactico.

These price tags are crazy, especially for unproven players. Who is his agent anyway? Transfermarkt only says relatives so i guess it's someone from his family doing the deals.

Media says Mendes has approached his family to be an intermediately in transfer given his connections to Monaco.

Perez is still the boss. I don't know if Monchi would have total control. But Perez should still be the guy who approves the fees and writes the cheque . Monchi probably would go after a keeper anyway. Navas seemed to be the weak link at this moment. I have no idea if Monchi can choose his player or Zidane would be the one.

Mbappe is just a name was mentioned here.... I just threw it in there. I actually have never heard of him until the Manchester City game. Griezmann is actually the only player worth 80 to 100 million at this moment. I like Dembele too, but he isn't ready for Real Madrid yet and he isn't more 40 million.

I believe that was one of his demands, that he has full control of the transfers. I also think this is something Perez wants too, he's getting quite old.

It's March. I wouldn't put much stock into any rumours right now.

On El Chiringuito they said that Barca have not only contacted Isco's father, but Isco himself about their interest in him.

If he goes to the camp, i will have lost all respect for him

If Isco hasn't re-signed by this September then we sit him with the reserves and let him walk to Barca out of form. And good luck getting into the WC squad.

It wouldn't be a good situation for either party, but Isco would have more to lose. Best for all involved to just sign the extension. Even if Isco does plan on leaving.

This is actually illegal. If there's proof to this, Barcelona could be hit with another transfer ban the way Chelsea did when they met Ashley Cole without Arsenal's consent.

That should stop them, they're saints after all and have never done anything illegal.

If there's any basis to this it's a huge f*** up by Barca.

I will put the chances of Isco joining Barca at probably less than 0. He isn't the type, the dude is well loved in Madrid, and has a lot of respect for the shirt. I do respect his decision to look for more minutes elsewhere, and he'll find another club this summer if he doesn't want to sign.

He'll end up in EPL. Either with Pep or United. No way he'd want to sit on the stands in a WC year and deal with all the hatred of moving to a rival like Figo did. He's not that type of guy. He always talks about how fans love him and that Flo chants "Isco Isco" in jest like fans do whenever they meet.

I won't be surprised if Cules started these rumours to destabilize the squad in the business end of the season. They know there's 0 chance of this deal happening.

But that would be so unlike them, they have never made shady deals before... If you don't count Neymar... Oh and Fabregas..

No one bid €100M for Mbappe, use your brains people. He'll be available for €55-65M this summer (depending on form until the end of the season). He has 2 years left on his contract and he's 18 FFS, Monaco isn't about to smash the transfer record unless he renews his contract & continues this crazy form throughout next season.

Newspapers are writing this crap because it grabs attention and people are interested in reading about him considering his recent form.

    From Marca..

Paris Saint-Germain could struggle to hold on to Marco Verratti this summer following comments made by his agent Donato di Campli.

The midfielder's representative has suggested that the Parisian club is holding him back and that he may have to move elsewhere to taste glory.

"It's a complicated situation," Di Campli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

"He has a contract until 2021 and he wants to have success, but PSG, as they are right now, cannot do that."

The agent was adamant that the doubts had nothing to do with the 24-year-old's salary and that all that mattered was finding the right platform to win.

"He needs to consider whether he wants to earn a lot and be a champion or if he wants to earn a lot and not be one," the Italian newspaper was told.

"It's not a matter of money because he'll earn a lot wherever he goes.

"If he does leave then he'll join a big European club."

With Barcelona having been linked with the player for several years, a move to the Camp Nou could be attractive for both parties.

    Sure he'll leave.

Those hostile tactic worked wonders for Thiago Silva and Marquinhos who are thoroughly enjoying playing with pique, messi and suarez.

Real Madrid target Mbappe intends to continue at Monaco

Kylian Mbappe has told Monaco he intends to stay at the club for at least another year in order to evaluate his career options, putting to bed suggestions he could be on his way to Real Madrid in the summer.

But with his contract set to end in the summer of 2019, the striker's father - and agent - has told the club that Mbappe intends to remain at the club until at least the end of next season and use the World Cup as a method of evaluating his future.

The France youth international is in no rush to leave and believes the Principality outfit is the ideal place to continue developing where he can continue to learn under the tutelage of Radamel Falcao.

Whilst Monaco have yet to set a definitive price for Mbappe, following the hefty transfers of James Rodriguez and Anthony Martial in recent years, the club will not settle for anything below the 80 million euros they received from the aforementioned sales.

This comes days after reports suggested the club had knocked back a 110m euro bid from an English club.

If Mbappe intends to stay another year I really hope he doesn't extend his contract.

If this is true, I'm all in on forcing Dembele and Dortmund to say "no".
