So there's still people who think MU will buy back Depay because of some buyback clause. First off, Mourinho didnt sign him in the first place, and he let him leave so he's clearly not in his plans. By the time its time to buy him back, Mourinho might not even be the manager and whoever is the manager will want his own players. I hope I stop reading this crap.
I have to think that his United days are far behind him. As a Chelsea fan I know Mourinho all to well. Once you're deemed surplus to requirements there is no return possible. Depay went to United too early. Probably would have been better off in the Bundesliga or La Liga where there is an emphasis on youth development and playing younger players. Depay will either be sold to a Bundesliga side or get a big money move back into England. I hope he stays in Lyon for a few years. He's perfect for the league and can really build his confidence back up just like Draxler. With the likelihood of Lacazette and Tolisso leaving this summer there is going to be a void left of 1) goals and 2) high level players. Depay could fill thst void along with Fekir and Tousart. Depay could be really good here.

Frankly I agree. I will be very curious if any of the Laca/Coco money is used to reinforce the squad of all of that goes to the Chinese loan for the stadium. Leaning for the latter.
Honestly, we're not going to be good this season. The midfield is paper thin and just not good enough. Hope I'm wrong, I just think it's going to be a major struggle. Tousart and Darder are the only adequate mids we have and Ferri is serviceable but not great and Grenier is Grenier.... On top of that, as high as I am on Aouar, I'm not exactly sure he's ready to play every day although I could be surprised there.
CB - Yanga Mbiwa, Nkoulou, Marcelo, Diakhaby, Mammana RB - Rafael, Tete LB - Morel, Marcal, Mendy It may not be quality depth but there's a lot of depth here. Selling Mammana might be bad since Yanga Mbiwa and Nkoulou are not performing up to what they once were. Should probably sign another RB.
