Just downloaded the app for iPad and I'm experiencing a couple of bugs. - When you selected Web View from the top right ellipsis, it takes you to a blank white page that you can't get out of back to the app. On my Note, it takes me to the webpage in Chrome. - When trying to turn off Push Notifications, I'm getting a spinning icon and it's not allowing me to make any changes. - When doing quick reply, the keybord keeps disappearing after a few seconds. When typing through the full reply, this doesn't happen. - Before creating a new thread, when touching Create, I'm prompted to select a category i.e. News, PBP, etc. I'll post more if I come across anything else.
The main issue i have with the app is that it doesn't allow you to go to "unread watched threads" from any screen, which you can do on the desktop version. Until I can navigate to my watched threads with one click I will be using the web version instead of the app.
about Tapatalk.. just curious if it's any good and would you recommend using it for mobile rather than browser? thinking about switching. cheers
The BS app is a slightly less bloated tapatalk. The main benefits are it is made for mobile, more posts per page and none of the extra stuff on webpages. The drawbacks are tweets can't be seen and some of the alert/notification stuff can be a little screwy between the app and if the webpage thinks you've "read" it. I use both, but I often fall back on the browser.
