It seems as if we are completely ignoring Kenan Kodro..... He started vs. Atletico Madrid today..... Not exactly the smallest of feats for a young player....... IMO, he needs to be in the mix right in there with Hodzic and Bajic.
Its encouragining that we have so much young talent at the forward position. Bajic Hodzic Kodro Djuric Prevljak Eventually the super talented kid Hadzic from FK Sarajevo youth teams
Also mujagic, that kid on FM was a true gem. But that's a video game, I still rate him highly tho. 18 year old, if I was željo I would be shopping him around to a team that could use a tall striker and loan him out for minutes. Dudes about 6'2" some goals for the youth team.
If we ignore Milan Djuric, because he is not young anymore, and these 17 and 18 year olds that no one cares about yet, as they have not stepped foot on a real football field yet with men. Now, Looking at Bajic, Hodzic, Prevljak and Kodro. Prevljak gets a pass because he tore his ACL and won't be back till next year some time and at 21 he is the youngest player on this shortened list. Then looking at Hodzic, Bajic and Kodro. IMO Kodro and Hodzic will never make past the levels they are currently at. Both have shown little, as I have seen both play . Hodizc when he does get off the bench at Dinamo cannot beat out Henriquez who has scored 1 less goal then Hodzic, and Hodzic has only scored 2 goals. As for Kodro, he is poor out there, does nothing well for a striker. I can't see him on the BIH NT ever. He can't hold the ball up against some of these midgets in Spain and has no speed to speak of. And has yet to score this season, does not have one quality that separates him from other talents. Now having shit on this list up to this point, I will say that I think that Bajic has a chance to be Ibisevic like(I don't think he will be a good as Ibisevic, bu could potentially have a solid enough career). As he reminds me of Ibisevic in some of his runs and decisions he makes. I think at 22 years of age Riad Bajic is the best of these 4 players, but he won't make any one forget about Dzeko or even Ibisevic. But I predict Bajic will be an NT player for a while(as there will not be many options once Ibisevic retires form the NT or is dropped).
Apparently Mesa also wants striker Đorđe Despotović to be part of the mix, doesn't seem necessary. http://m.avaz.ba/clanak/264559/14?url=clanak/264559/14
So Gojak started against Juventus in the champions league. First half ended 0-0. Anyone watch? See how he played?

Apart from Zukanovic and Spahic (when he isn't injured), those are our only CBs that regularly start for their clubs. There is absolutely no reason not to call up Dumic and play him for the entire match against Gibraltar. The upcoming qualifier should be used to give players on the fringe an opportunity.
LB Daniel Pavlovic is able to play for Bosnia now http://www.radiosarajevo.ba/sport/nogomet/pavlovic-stekao-pravo-nastupa-za-reprezentaciju-bih/248211
Milicevic with a brace against Anderlecht. Maybe he needs some game time for the National Team. Who is Mesa on this forum? I know he reads it...
Vranjes apparently having a medical with AEK. Not a bad spot to end up. For all those clamoring for Dumic to be called up ahead of him for CB, I completely agree. Unfortunately he is the best option we have at RB (which is why he keeps getting called up). Vrsajevic has been in good form lately so mayhaps you'll see him get called up again...
At this point I wouldn't mind Vrsajevic or some nobody RB from the Bosnian league getting a chance, as terrible as Vranjes is, he's still our best option at RB, which really isn't much of an option.
It's quite sad. The ineptitude of our FA to strengthen positions of weakness through youth has been expected and shown once again.
