Jerome has signed a three month deal with Nyköpings BIS who play in the fourth tier of swedish football. The article says that he hopes to make enough of an impression to be able to move up to the swedish second division after that time. Nyköping now have three americans with Shaquille Phillips signing earlier this preseason and now Jerome and Paul Torres.

Jerome also played his first preseason game for Nyköping this weekend, I think this was the last one before the season starts. From the match report on their official website it sounds like he still needs some time to find full match fitness.

Two wins and two losses so far this season for Nyköpings BIS and the americans have had various degrees of success.

Shaquille Phillips seems to be the one that's doing the best. He has started all games and played the full 90 minutes three times and 56 minutes once. He seems to mostly have been playing rightback instead of central defender and has received praise in several match reports.

Stefan Jerome started the first three games, was subbed out early second half in the first two and then played the full 90 minutes of the third game where he also scored his only goal so far. In the latest game he only came on to play the last seven minutes. I might be jumping to conclusions here but I get the vibe that the club might have had higher expectations on him then what he has performed so far.

Paul Torres has had the least playing time in the league out of the three. He came on as a second half sub in two games and made a positive impact so he got to start in the latest game where he unfortunaly was sent off with a red card in the second half. He also scored one goal in a local cup.

Unfortunaly, as can be seen in the picture above, Jerome injured himself after coming on as a sub in the game after the last update in this thread. He missed a few games after that but has now returned and been on the bench again for the three latest games. In two of them he got to come on towards the end of the match, but no goals scored.

He's also been playing for Nyköpings reserve team in the sixth tier, there he has two goals in six games.

Very old news, but Stefan Jerome was training with HFK Olomouc (3rd tier) last summer. He played in one league game on September 6th, 2014. He left (or was let go) on December 1, 2014.

What has happened to Jerome? Did he find a club?
