It seems that Thorsheim has moved on to a trial with Vejle BK, who are also competing in the First Division. The article also mentions another American who is trialing there as well - goalkeeper Mike Lansing. Based on a quick google search, it seems as though he's another former Bucknell guy.
Yeah, he wasn't deemed good enough to even be on the bench for yesterdays pre-season training friendly so he moved on to a trial with Vejle instead.
A few updates. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Dg_T44v9WvQT0FmZZeQHHcFoSLwRBSSaBOldIlw5rMY/edit?usp=sharing Someone want to start a thread for Lansing?

I noticed there are a handful of players in the German 4/5th divisions and the English 5/6th divisions. How good could these leagues possibly be, and are these guys professionals at this level?
That's true; however, the English 5th tier and the German 4th tier do have some clubs that are full-time professional.

Wolves finished 7th in the table last year and could be a potential promotion case this coming year. Leeds was mid table.
Vejle BK (Danish 1st division (second tier)) signed goalkeeper Michael Lansing to a one-year deal. The club recently got a new owner and are basically building a completely new team so they've signed loads of players from all over the world. http://www.vejle-boldklub.dk/index.php?nyheder&newsId=8573 I can try my hand at a translation if anyone wants to read a boring press release.
Obviously, Steffen to the Crew, as well as Johnsen joining Kitchen at Hearts. According to Lalas, you can add Trabzonspor to the list of Turkish teams apparently interested in Zardes. LA supposedly turned down a $2.5 million transfer offer.

Made a few updates, including the Guzan news. There are still some pretty big names on the board, so to speak, with the "sagas" of Alvarado, Birnbaum and more still apparently in play, along with some relatively high profile youth players.
It might be premature as he isn't old enough to sign but hasn't both Will Pulisic and Dortmund announced he'd be signing when eligible
More updates added. We're creeping toward 100 names, which probably means we're actually above that number counting guys we haven't found yet in various leagues and countries...
Zelalem is supposed to be staying put to start the season. The rest are most likely loaned. Tho CCV might spend one more year with the youth team before he gets loaned. He's still just 18.
