I've seen somewhere that Neuer's new salary is on par with Muller's - cca. 15mio per year, making him highest paid goalkeeper by far (he already was highest paid goalkeeper with cca. 8m per year). Is any truth in this? I am a little worried about how high salaries we gave to some of the players whose contracts were renewed (Muller, Neuer, Boateng (rumours about 12m per year))...
Well, I think there would have to be some special reason to make Muller or Neuer decide to go. Notwithstanding I understand why Muller was given so high salary (the face/icon of the club, ManUnited's ridiculous salary offers), but I find it very difficult so understand such high salary for Neuer.. he is a goal keeper for gods sake and he was already the best paid goalkeeper in the world with his previous salary - cca. 8m per year! Why almost double that amount??? I am afraid that if we keep giving such salaries to every member of our starting 11, then limitations of our wage budget will force us to drastically reduce our squad... Although I am a fan of "quality > quantity", it still makes me worried.

Just about to share this! Anyone think it's possible to play him? I think it's all gamesmanship TBH. He hasn't even had match fitness since his injury
