Rubilio is out for two months according to the press in Mexico. So that isn't too bad, but I assume they aren't taking into account the amount of time it'll take to get him re-acclimated to game-shape. I'll give it 3-4 months.. 5-6 at the most. Not bad. Fuerza Negro! Btw Honduras trailed 1-0 to Nicaragua and ended up beating them 3-1 with goals de Byron Mendez, Ever Alvarado, y autogol.
Just saw the highlights so we won by a Golazo by Byron a penalty and a auto goal, and as tradition Pinto got ejected from the game lol
In and interview with Diez Alexander Lopez said that he had offers to play in Portugal 1st Division and Tenerife of Spain but chose to sign with Olimpia to get fit lol. He only signed a 6 month contract with Olimpia so I guess his plan is to go abroad in the Winter transfer window when Euro teams are beginning a new season, I have a feeling that he made a stupid mistake.
Roberto Dip president of Vida has said that if Bryan Garcia signs with DC United then it will a loan deal and said that the decision could come next week, He has also said that they are currently in negotiations to transfer a player to a NASL team and that Bryan Moya, Marcelo Canales and Maycol Montero have interest from MLS teams. Remember that Bryan Moya was offered a contract by the Houston Dynamo but could not sign due to Visa problems it's possible that they are trying to work it out to sign him again.
Can he get a visa this time though.. Vida have a BEVY of talent just sitting there. Elder Torres, Rodolfo Espinal, Sony Fernandez, Nolberto Garcia. They just keep pushing them out, #Octomom #barzzzzzz
@Ciclonkaiser dude... you do know that those game threads you're putting up are kinda futile since there's general threads now?? You're just cluttering up General sections with game specific threads that don't get much use.
It's possible that they could have work it out for him to sign, If he does sign then I can see him getting loaned to the Dynamos new USL team RGV Toros for Development, Moya is only 22 so he could possibly be another option for the U23. Both Vida and Victoria are full of promising youngsters their best chance to stay alive is to have a fire sale of players to stay financially afloat.
If Moya is going to Houston just to get loaned out again cuz they can't get his visa straightened out... again, then why did he come to Vida in the first place?? lol
He went to Vida because he couldn't stay in the States because of his Visa issues while he was there he was playing with the Houston Dynamo U23's while they were trying to sort out his signing, all I'm saying is that if he does sign with them then I can see him getting loaned out the USL team to get playing time if he can' break into the 1st team.
Tenerife is being linked to so many Honduran players I just hope that they can actually sign some lol.
Speaking of Vida they tied 0-0 at home against Platense.. Once again I bring forth.. the youngsters who played so far this week list(catchy): Vida 0-0 Platense: Para Vida: Norberto Garcia, Elder Torres, Maycol Montero, y Bryan Moya Para Platense: Getsel Montes y Dylan Andrade Real Espana 1-0 Motagua: Para Motagua: Kevin Lopez Para La Makina: Jhow Benavidez, Roman Valencia, Allans Vargas, y Darwin Arita Pretty crazy to see some of the recent past U-17 kids like Arita y Andrade get playing time.
I guess you are right. The reason I open new threads in the Central American forum is so both Honduran and Guatemalan users can discuss in a neutral place as this entry is HON related only.
Yea, but we don't have enough users with interest, like back then, that will actually discuss these friendlies in a separate thread. Even in this thread, it's hard to generate a ton of convo or traffic from our own users. Look at how many of them I tagged on the beginning of this thread and then count the number of them that actually have posted regularly here.
Carlos Costly is no longer on the team...I love Honduras based on my personal Jesus Costly...I'm a Mexico fan but was a fan of Honduras' style in the late 90s-early 00's...hopefully you all have a golden generation coming up...the talent is obviously there...the infrastructure is what seems to be lacking...the club frustration is real from what I read in this thread...players slipping through the cracks, unrealized talent, etc. Having four strong teams in CONCACAF would be great.
I don't think we can get worse going forward tbh. This is probably the most rock bottom Honduras will be for the next 8 years if you take into consideration how young the league is and how many players are starting to emerge from the league. A lot of competition will cause log jams which in turn will force some coaches to over look players that they would normally promote to the senior team. It's sort of a double-edged sword cuz ofcourse players like Elis, Chirinos for example are Senior NT talent, but at the cost of marginalizing players with that sort of potential like Rembrandt and Velasquez whom need to play NOW in order that they don't regress or stagnate in development. It's cool.. This team will be super good in four years and will probably push for a medal in Rio this summer, but until then the frustration will be never ending.
Damn this thread is getting a lil emotional. ..me van a hacer llorar...lmfao Anyways you guys think Pinto will convince najar for the games against el salvador? Or will he keep 'playing' a carlos vela last cycle with you guys ?
Who knows lol I haven't dwelled on the theory of him coming yet.. if he comes he comes, if not o well.
U-20 Honduras NT news: http://www.diariomas.hn/2016/02/tab...icrociclo-de-la-seleccion-sub-20-de-honduras/
Tenerife have confirmed that Lozano buy option is 1.5 million euros from Olimpia, if he stays healthy and tears it up in the Olympics there is no way that they keep him.
A kid Pinto should be watching for the U-23 team.. Carlos Perdomo, RB de Marathon. 22 years of age iirc.. boy can ball. http://www.diez.hn/futboldeprimera/...ue-se-bajó-a-mauricio-sabillón-de-la-banda-en
