As noted on @roversawh7's list, and confirmed by @iamalfred via this article, in which he says his father is American: Mamman är svensk och pappan kommer från USA. http://www.gd.se/fotboll/allsvenskan/emil-imponerar-kan-fa-mer-speltid-i-cupen He's a big '94 striker at Gefle IF in Sweden's top division: http://www.gefleiffotboll.se/spelare/emil-bellander/
Here's video from 2014 of his first and only Allsvenskan goal so far, and of course it had to be against my club Djurgården!
This is interesting. File it under the Siebatcheu category. Could be of help to the Olympic team and maybe someday the NT.
If Transfermarkt is correct, this season has been a loss for Bellander due to injury. http://www.transfermarkt.com/emil-bellander/leistungsdaten/spieler/220356
Bellander came on for the last few minutes of Gefle's Wednesday road win at Kalmar, which was notable for charming European soccer reasons: They had a single traveling fan, which made for a nice scene after the match: 792041689925947392 is not a valid tweet id I believe Bellander wears 20, and there's no obvious 20 in the lineup in that scene, but he might be the tallish fellow whose jersey is already off just to the right of 4.
Bellander made six sub appearances at the end of the season after returning from injuring, scoring a goal and registering an assist. Gefle were relegated to the second tier and Bellander's contract expires next month.
Moved to Atvidabergs FF in the Superettan (2nd tier). https://www.superettan.se/2017/01/bellander-bra-miljo-for-unga-spelare/
23 appearances (17 starts) this season. 2 goals, 3 assists. Atvidaberg finished dead last and were relegated to the third tier. Bellander has one more year on his contract.
Bellander has been with Sandvikens IF in the third tier this season. 5 goals so far this season, which doubles his career haul.
