This isn't Gio being shown the door by Villarreal , this is a young talent who was just recently bought for 10 Million Euros by a Club who has an eye for talent .

    SMH, here's his Goal

I think its time for Mexico to start releasing the young guns. Guti, Lozano, and Pizzaro: You're up! We definitely have the best attacking talent in the region. Costa Rica/USA a close second. What do you other CONCACAF peeps think?

On individual talent, I don't think anyone in the region is remotely close to Mexico right now. CRC and USA are second, but the Gringos and us are not yet at our best (neither is Mexico, to be fair).

We'll see come next round. Last time, Mexico was flying on this current phase, CRC and USA were mediocre, and we all know how that played out in the Hex. Individual talent isn't everything. And I'd be specially wary of Panama and Trinidad this cycle.

Anyone knows what's up with Haiti v Jamaica? Looks like it was set to start half an hour ago but got pushed back to 50 mins from now.

I'd be happy with a score like that.

HAI-JAM is now underway (for real).

The rain hasn't let off in Panama. The match is at risk, according to some of the media.

Hate to bring up the snow game, but if that wasn't called off, I don't see why Aguilar Chicas would call this off now (he's the same referee from that game)

If the pitch gets too soggy, we may be screwed. Saborío is not starting, as Machillo went for the speedy Ureña. If speed and thru passes were our gameplan, this will certainly hurt us more than it hurts the physical and cross-into-the-box Panamanian style.

He might need to switch it quickly if things start going sour. Hopefully the pitch is not doing too bad.

That's uncalled for, BUT maybe this will convince Honduras to play a different game rather than just rough physical fouls.

Garrido wasn't the guy who fouled him though. Aquino simply fell on Garrido as he come to offer support before he fell.

Well I was talking about the Honduran team as a whole not Garrido himself. They play a more physical game, but the risk of injury is greater with that style. Hopefully Garrido completely recovers.

Where I'm at right now, the rain starts in mid-September and won't stop until the end of March.

Costa Rica quite comfortable up until now. Panama getting physical, but lacking ideas going forward.

Rain has made it difficult for both teams. CR has been more menacing, but having Ureña up top is like having to deal with an extra defender.

Damnit...well, it's now 6 points or bust in March. :( I guess 4 will do if Costa Rica helps out and takes all 6 from Jamaica.
