Just by living in the US shows their preference. How many of these kids would realistically want to move to live in Mexico?
You're mixing sports with politics, isn't that what USMNT supporters do sometimes? It's Totally unnecessary.
What gives you the right to say that these kids would realistically not want to live in Mexico just because of the fact that their parents moved to the US, it wasn't their choice it was their parents choice. I for one experienced a similar situation and I have visited Mexico many times and I'd love to move to Guadalajara later on in my life when I get a chance. Living in the US is not all its fed up to be, people are racist, and culturally to me it's not appealing maybe those kids feel the same way.
Why as asking, would they? I would guess no. If you want move there someday great. How about right now? There's also racism everywhere, including in Mexico, or are they immune to that?
You have no credibility when it comes to this subject, are you Mexican? No, okay. Stop guessing and stop making assumptions. I'd move there right now if I could, I was close to moving there to study but my parents didn't want me to go. Don't even reply to me anymore. This thread has been derailed for far too long.
Only professional players who've played at least a few pro games, but its too late, I've made my decision.
No no no It's @Ovearchiever's favorite player that he's obsessed with comparing Erick Aguirre too. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erik_Palmer-Brown
Was it from the coaches? I mean, the current US U17 team isn't exactly white bread and has a bunch of Latin players on the roster, so the players deal with his "lifestyle" is an odd explanation.
When you're a professional footballer, you end up living all over the world depending on where you play. They may never live in their home country during their career.
I've already argued with the guy about the talent level. I think the overall talent level is actually pretty good, certainly deeper than ever before. Now, the "star" factor is a different thing. I don't know of anyone as good as Donovan, necessarily, coming through the pipeline, but I also pointed out that Dempsey was a college player and didn't emerge until much later, like a Brian McBride did before him. There are some good players at the younger level and some others who will be late developers, as usual, for us.
What did I get pulled into? Is ussoccer9203u309420394830298 trying to convince everyone Agudelo is the best young player in CONCACAF? We're a nation who celebrates our stars above and beyond most, that is until we have no new ones coming thru, in which case the argument has turned to not needing them. But don't worry, next time we have a real star come thru, fans will hype the shit out of him and cling to him as they've done with previous. Dempsey emerged as a guy good enough to get EPL bids and an EPL contract at 23 after being the brightest young talent in MLS at the time, then by 24 was a key player for Fulham. That's clearly ahead of the other 23/24 yr olds people love hyping, like Zardes or Trapp or Lletget or Harry freakin Shipp. McBride's an exception as was Landon. People should probably stop pointing to exceptions as due to them being exceptions, it actually proves the counter point which is that by 23/24, you generally know what an attacker will be.
And, a bunch of those guys we're discussing aren't event close to being 23/24, including a college kid like Jordan Morris. Who's really hyping Zardes or Shipp as the next Donovan? You're trying to argue in the above passage that it won't get "turned around" to even past levels because there's not the talent similar to the past that will get us to the point in which we were in years past, which isn't the case. There's a lot of potential talent and current talent well on par or above what we've had, certainly deeper. It also isn't a coincidence that coaches in the program who've had a reputation for lacking tactical sense, among other issues, have demonstrated those same issues while in charge of their respective programs.
Really I like his post , usually rep him often . That's great and all but before you had stars in difference making positions to help bleed in those support players . Now you don't have stars in difference making positions only Cameron at CB & Bradley as a 6 .
