I'm not putting expectations. I'm just saying if he takes them seriously, he should get the 6 pts, most likely he won't though.

Relax Sleepy Spaceman...I will support as always...Its normal to have some doubts because of his resume and because he is an unknown coach (you can apply this logic anywhere outside of sports). What I did say and if you read my posts is that I am going to support him. So even if he gets a lost or we win but not playing good I will still support because I understand the process. So don't say "go root for the Nads"...there is no need for that.

With Herrera's slump in form, I can see Guti threatening to take his spot

Salcedo and Silva should be getting chances too

I'm hyped after reading he praised Chuky and Guti, I hope he includes best players from the U22 in the team instead of Troncos like Rivas, Esquivel, Aguilar and Guemez

Reminder we haven't beaten Honduras in an away game in more than two decades.

Interesting to have a MX coach get presented and actually want to talk tactics and players. Actually its not Osorio that intrigues me, its the "outsider" perspective thats going to be refreshing.

    They signed Osorio because

    1) Nobody in the Mexican league was willing to take up the charge due to the politics behind the position
    2) They wanted Bielsa but couldn't get him
    3) Any other foreign candidates already had solid jobs and Osorio was the only one willing to breach his contract

By which I'm not saying he is a bad coach, but that he was what they could get considering the calendar.

I don't know man..I disagree on that..he talks about Rafa in a line of three...Rafa is too slow for that.

Although I wouldn't say I was AGAINST osorio coming to the national team, I did question the decision. I didn't know much about him and let that get in the way of actually learning about him. Hearing him speak and explain his style in a few interviews today, it's undeniable that the guy has done his homework and is well prepared. Hoping for the best!

Hahahah No mames , as slow as Herrera has looked , Guti was getting straight man handled by Kids in the U-20 WC .
Dude doesn't have the speed or physical traits to supersede Herrera atm imo .

Salcedo and Silva are better physically & actual play than Rivas so they are fair game .

He was asked about what role Rafa would play going forward and he said that if Rafa can maintain his level, he could play as a libero in three man backline or as a center mid that drops in as a CB in a four man back line.

I liked his answers. We finally have a coach who is not afraid to talk about football.

haha nah Herrera was bad and if he keeps it up he probably will lose his spot, I dont know what game you were looking at but Guti wasnt the one getting man handled it was Guzman, he was terrible throughout qualifying, Guit has got a much higher ceiling than Herrera

BS Guti was apart of it too after all it was only him and Guzman in the midfield .
I also want too know when Guti has ever shown the ability too surpass the lvls Herrera has shown in the past ?

would rather have him there than as a dm.
Imo, his days as a dm are over. leave it to jds or gallito
his positioning skills are second to none as a defender

Would rather have him there on a line of four defenders.

Props to him for talking the talk but talk is cheap, has to show it on the field with results. So far so good though.
