Oribe has been known to score some important gols for us in big games so it wouldn't be the complete end of the world. He also has more gols than Cheech, Vela, and Jimenez combined right now. I'm not in favour of this, just want to make a point.
Can't really apply the transitive property since the US is not going to be lacking intensity when they play against Mexico on saturday compared to what they showed vs Brasil. I'm not saying they weren't trying vs Brasil but I've seen way too many Mexico vs USA games to know they will come out willing and ready to battle.
Is anyone else following the ticket situation for this game? As of yesterday there were a few thousand on StubHub, but that number has dropped drastically in the past few hours (it looks like there are only about 1,500 left now).
Its their own fault. The way this game was organized was horrible. There were like 3 different pre-sales. (lottery/nads/Mexicans) and one general sale.
CONCACAF got what they wanted. A sellout at the Rose Bowl, the top teams in the region, the biggest TV market (Mex) and second biggest (mexicans in US). But the reality is this is nothing more than a glorified molero used as a qualifier to the biggest molero tournament of them all. Ladies & gentlemen, I give you the Blazer Bowl. In other words, this game is completely pointless aside from the economic benefit for a handful of people.

The reason is because these tickets are hard tickets and stubhub stops listing for tickets 3 days before game due to tickets having to be shipped. The ones they have still, is because they have in their possession to ship. If anyone still needs tickets, pm me. Cost plus shipping, PayPal fees
Oribe is completely useless nowadays. Even America fans realize that he's completely past it. My god, if we start Oribe and Raul on Sunday and we lose, my hate for Tuca will be at an all-time high.
I don't see a problem with anyone spending the money and/or traveling a distance to watch the game. I spent over 200 for my ticket, I'd rather have spent less of course but hey i already know I'll have a good time since I'm already pumped. I know people who spend similar amounts on a weekend sometimes on nothing but drinking. This game isn't an event you get to attend to every other week
