You know how concacaf has the brilliant idea of having a gold cup every 2 years instead of every 4? The winner of each one play against each other Also Why do you guys call them "the nads"?I'm missing something lol
----------------------Talavera----------------------- --------Reyes-------Marquez--------Moreno----- -Aguilar-----------------------------------Layun---- ---------Herrera/JDS--------Guardado/JDS------------- ---------------------Tecatito------------------------- ----------Jimenez-------------Chicharito---------- A variation of what I'd like to see.. -Sorry Vela, but you haven't been doing much lately. -I'd put Jonathan in in the midfield depending which of our players (Herrera or Guardado) are the least fittest. -Chicharito hasn't been too good lately but I still thought the Jimenez/Chicharito combo was pretty dangerous last match

Honestly, the USMNT has been hit by a combination of poor youth development and a lot of their key players getting old at the same time. This team isn't the one it was 7 years ago. That defense with guys like Bocanegra, Cherundolo and Onyewu was pretty solid. That and Donovan was always a thorn in the side of the Mexican team. The USMNT has been getting outplayed badly recently. Hell, they were outplayed by most teams in the Gold Cup. Haiti and Honduras lost to the USMNT in the Gold cup but they gave them a run for their money and made their defense look bad. Jamaica and Panama beat them; that and Panama outshot them 21 to 5. Mexico has enough talent to win it is that simple. However, the US has a knack for grinding out ugly wins. One or two mental brain farts from the Mexican team could prove costly if the US gets a goal. Mexico needs to use speed against what will probably be a very defensive team.. If the Mexican offense buries it's chances it is going to be light's out for the US team. Their defense is just too slow and has shown to be easily exposed by speedy players; because of this I would love to see Tecatito start.
On paper, it's not even close. However, we all know that they're gonna go all out for this so I hope the players are ready. And please, don't start Guardado and Marquez if they're not ready, as much as I'd like them to play.
Bunker and counter fock it. I don't care if we win ugly, just win. After this game we can worry about sorting our playing style with the new coach.
Lol some of them are bummed that Morales, Wood, and Morris aren't coming. They play for Ingolstadt (Bundesliga II), Union Berlin (Bundesliga II), and Stanford respectively. Let that sink in.
