JIPPO unfortunately suffered (another) relegation, but Johnson, who scored 10 goals this season, will stay in the Finnish third tier as he’s signed a contract with promotees PEPO Lappeenranta. Also moving is goalkeeper Nathan Stockie, who represented JIPPO for the past two seasons. PEPO will share the Kakkonen group with Kultsu FC, aka the Kult , who are from the same municipality and finished second this season. PEPO already snatched coach Mika Heino from Kultsu, so let’s see if the tables shall turn. http://www.pepofutis.net/?x103997=1625067 http://liuathletics.com/news/2015/10/20/MSOC_1020153054.aspx
Kultsu is well known on this board as the home to multiple Puerto Rican players (3 this past season).
In Kakkonen (Group A) PEPO 1 had no trouble when they visited Futura. Jakeem Johnson scored a brace in the 1 - 3 win, which takes them out of the relegation zone. http://ussocceracrossthepond.blogsp...-wrap-sunday-7242016-features-2.html?spref=tw
His club finished mid-table, but Johnson was the second-leading scorer of the Kakkonen Group B with 14 goals in 22 matches.
