Next game is this Tuesday, 9/22 in the Scottish League Cup vs St. Johnstone at the Ibrox. Will be a great litmus test vs a mid-table SPL team.

Jurgen is probably hoping to get Ranger's to cooperate with letting him attend Olympic Qualifying with USA U23 team rather than the one off with Mexico which he will likely not feature in.

 

Meh, a lot changes in a half a decade. There is some truth to it and I am a Rangers supporter. Sacramento, Louisville, OKC, and the reserve MLS sides could certainly beat the bottom three in the SPL regularly.

Don't confuse that with the top 25% of the SPL being the equal of the MLS top clubs as well though.

Gedion starting now is no longer even a question at Ibrox. Going to miss him during the Olympic qualifying for sure.

 

Gedion's service into the box is pretty dang impressive.

Yes, but not even his most impressive run of play as yet. He served the ball indirect on goal twice that could/should have produced goals as well.

He's controlled the run of play in the midfield.

 

Came off in the 62 minute. Completely new central midfield for Rangers.

Like a lot of people have said, he still needs work on his vision and he holds the ball a little long unless Oduwa is his target. Great service into the box as I mentioned before though. Would be really nice to see Zelalem and Oduwa get more than half a term to work together, there's real chemistry there between those two.

 

When do you guys think Gedion gets his first full cap? I think he gets called in for the January camp unless he plays terrible with the U23s.

 

Won't be in January camp as that is meant for MLS and Scandinavia league players. Most other euro leagues are still in session.
