PBP: MLS 2015 Week 9 Running PBP Thread [Multiple R]

The argument is that they would have opened them up more if not for free agency. Not that it would be some spending free-for-all. I think that's right. If that's what the players were insisting on instead, the owners would have had to come around or risk a stoppage. It worked on FA, it probably would have worked on the salary cap. Especially when you consider that most owners are spending well over the "cap" anyway.

One of my teammates used to say "there's power and then there's pinpoint accuracy" on shots like that one.

 

NYCFC is in big trouble, trailing after having just subbed off their biggest scoring threat!

 

Man, what a soft goal by Dempsey...but hey, I guess they all count. Very impressed by the crowd at Yankee Stadium. They are really loud and into the action!

 

Whenever I see the name of your favorite club (not St Louis but the other one), this is inevitably what I think of:

 

Nobody but Dempsey and Oba is allowed to score for us

I am so happy for Ballouchy one of the most talented players in MLS! This is his year, he may be an MVP candidate.
