PBP: United States vs Denmark; March 25th; 3:00pm ET

If our best player is going to punt the ball into the corner and out of bounds during a potential break, I'm just going to start drinking.

 

Our goal was the fault of their rookie, Sviatchenko, who failed to tackle Jozy.

 

He's not a wide midfielder. Play him at LB, and he's good.

 

We aren't looking good, but I'm not impressed with Denmark either.

 

Gyasi and Jozy getting their runs crossed a bit. Good to see Gyasi popping up more, he's been invisible except for being partially at fault on the goal. Need more from him. Hoping he gets additional time in the 2nd half - probably needs a talking to at half time.

EDIT: Then again, Aron hasn't been seen either.

I wonder why a guy like FJ cant get into this picture. One of the few players who has the athletic ability and silkiness on the ball to play Fergie ball. I could see him filling in for Evra just needs to work on his positioning, no easy crosses.

He doesn't defend. If he's not doing that and isn't terrific offensively, what's he in the lineup for?

 

zardes has the skills, needs bigtime experience...

 

Right back is where he looked the best for the US.

 

All you Bradley worshippers...I just don't see it. Too slow and defensively clumsy. US is nearly ALWAYS dominated in midfield.

 

He's good at either full back position. He was very good for a number of years with Hoffenheim at LB.

They've obviously identified our left side. Like shit through a goose over there.

I don't like a 442 unless the quick direct counter is on. I don't think that suits AJ, and we're definitely not playing it quickly regardless.

 

Definitely Garza's worst run out so far.

 

If that flag/banner kept obstructing the view we wouldnt miss anything.

 

When he was played in a deeper role he was the most influential American player of the last decade.

 

First half analysis:

Good: Altidore
Bad: Everyone else

 

Garza has been poor. Bradley has been sloppy. Chandler has been lethargic, again.

Other than that, super.

 

This team is Shiit at possession.. Not surprising since training is mostly just just fitness
