Zardes had a good number of touches and opportunities early on -- and now he's sort of disappeared and is maybe hiding from the ball. His early plays were not very confident. Hoping he can shake it off and try something positive.
He's so misanalysed. I think even Sunderland did that. They probably thought they were getting a target striker because he's big, strong, and athletic, so they projected he would be a target striker, but that must have been poor scouting. People want him to be that player, but he's not. He's a goal scorer who's tall, has some strength and is fairly athletic for his size, not much else. No touch, no ability to hold the ball up, bad in the air, etc.
I think the trick with him is every touch needs to be a shot. ahha, a goal with 4 blue shirts watching. horrible, horrible defending.
And there's the Orozco error. He's just not a good player. Not good enough at this level for 90 minutes.
Zardes keeps him on. Zardes watches him score. Not to put the whole play on him -- but that was not good.
He just stood there and let a guy flick it to his teammate in the box. Even if it resulted in a PK, you can't just stand there and do nothing.
dude, we get it orozco you dont like, but he followed his man, chandler and zardes were just watching. that was RB responsibility. RM was in place to help and didnt. but stop with your persecution of the player. it's tiresome. He is a good player.
