Another goal for U18s... US U20 forward Andrija Novakovich has scored for Reading U18s for a 2-1 lead vs Chelsea #U20MNT— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) February 21, 2015
Match report from today's U18 2-1 win over Chelsea. Check this out from Chelsea's match report: "The American Novakovich had been the best player on the pitch and his quality told again when he scored what would turn out to be the winning goal. He seized upon a loose ball before dancing his way into the box, faking a shot to leave Nartey and Beeney floundering before making it 2-1 with a highly assured finish." "Conor Davis whipped an effort wide coming in from the left before deft footwork by Novakovich fashioned a chance he would eventually slam widel"
An 18 year old playing in the under 18 is not very impressing. If he was a talented prospect they would have him in the under 21.

Wow!!. Gets the first team call up today. Kudos young man. On he bench vs Watford. To be fair, with their FA Cup replay on Monday alot of the first team regulars arent playing. Royals out on the pitch: Stacey, Novakovich, Kuhl, Keown and Edwards. pic.twitter.com/mxuqC9d82k— Reading FC (@ReadingFC) March 14, 2015

Came on for his debut in the 86th down 4-1. It ended that way. I'm not sure how he did but its still impressive either way.

I know it is non-important games but an 18 year old getting playing time in the championship is a fantastic YA story, very much under the radar.
